I just like this restaurant. The food is excellent. The pie is made on site. This place is known for their pie. To me, it is one of the best chain coffee shops in existence. The breakfast menu is good. I personally like the lunch menu better. The dinner hour has good choices also. I’ve never had a bad meal here. It’s far better than fast food and just as inexpensive.

Honestly, Village Inn is one of my absolute favorite spots. It’s just a wonderful place to eat and I always have a great time when I’m here. The whole vibe is super relaxed and welcoming, which makes it the perfect place to just sit back and enjoy a meal.
The food is always spot on. If you’re a breakfast fan like me, you have to try the French Toast and the crepes—they are both so good! And if you’re more in the mood for something savory, their omelets are fantastic.
Everything is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is just great every single time. If you want a solid meal and a chill environment, definitely check this place out!

Pretty good location. The food was cooked perfectly and the service was fantastic. If you haven’t tried any of the hand made Pies available there, you’re missing out. And yes, they have grits…lol. I love them, but I’m not sure if anyone else is interested.

My husband, mother in law, father in law and myself came here to eat lunch after we just had church for Easter Sunday and we couldn’t have had a better waitress we had Ashely and she was phenomenal, she was charismatic, attentive on top of everything always made sure we had what we needed or if we needed something else how we enjoyed our food! The food was great the company was outstanding and the waitress was what made the experience the most memorable! She even went one step above and took pictures of us all without hesitation! I highly recommend this place to eat hands down for the exceptional service!

Don’t judge the place by its awful colors. It’s pretty nice inside, and the food is good. Obviously, I’m not the only one who knows this. We had to wait to be seated. The sweet girl working our table tried to make up for it. The prices are good concerning the food, but little items like a cup of coffee (3.00) are high. Overall, it was a good experience. I’ll be back.

Pickup order was hot and fresh. I love that they separate the different toppings for the special pancakes. Makes it easier to avoid something you might not want or want too much of. Also, it keeps the pancakes from turning to mush. Overall good experience here.

very dingy. the carpet looks like it was installed in 1958 when restaurant open and very dirty. the same goes for the booths, seats and restroom. food was decent but quit going there because if dining area that bad i wonder what the kitchen looks like. republic needs a clean restauraynt with good food.

Update- Well I returned to Village Inn, it wasn’t good. Had the ultimate breakfast. The hashbrowns, bacon and sausage were ok. The ham was over a third fat, yuk! My eggs, ordered over medium, were way over cooked. The yokes were hard and dry. They also got my drink wrong, not a huge deal but with everything else… it all adds up.
Breakfast is easy, I always say its hard to mess up breakfast. But some manage to do just that. (Photos attached)

Original review-
I hadn’t been to Village Inn in a while. I’ll be honest I haven’t been a big fan. But I took a chance on them for breakfast and was very pleased.
I hade the Ultimate scramble without the peppers, tomatoes and onions. It was great!
It came with a couple pancakes and they were spot on. When my meal comes with the cakes I usually only eat a couple bites. I ate every bite. My brother had the same order with the veggies and liked it all too.
The coffee was hot and fresh. The staff was super friendly. The place was very clean.
Happy to have been proven wrong. I do recommend and would certainly return.
Thank you.

Service was extremely slow. Customers that came in after us, was served and left before we got our waitress to bring us the check.
‘Free pie’ had one cherry in each of our slices. The remainder was just cherry filling.
Very disappointing.
