Place was nowhere half capacity but apparently the 2 bartenders were “very busy” so my draft beer took 20 minutes. The table beside remained dirty for the hour we were here (waiting on beer). The host did come by and straighten the table and another young slim host came by and moved the dishes closer to the edge)

I don’t know why you advertise pick up and go because your app doesn’t work correctly! You don’t check to see if people are there. Your process order shows that it’s in process never shows that it’s complete. Then I call and you hang up on me because I complained, worst experience ever! Something similar happened like this three years ago and I thought that y’all maybe would have corrected it by now but obviously not you just have poor service!!! So why do you offer something if you’re not gonna do what you’re supposed to do!!!!

Well—Waited 15 minute for my order after scheduled pick up time. Home—Took the food out of the bag, and the order was completely botched! Pic below. Called for the manager continuously got hung up on seven times until someone finally stopped hanging up on me. Got to talk to a manager. He was very nice and understanding considering I was mad as a hornet by now. He agreed it was poorly handled. As I told him all they had to do was call us if they were out of food, to substitute the mashed potato, broccoli and waffle fries we received hard green beans!! Never once did they call and ask if we wanted something different. Extremely disappointed as I told him I will never eat at Applebee’s again I have demanded a refund. NO effort whatsoever was made for our service!!

Got 2 chicken alfredos and wings. The cook must need more experience, because it tasted good until I bit into a very tough wing at the table, and the chicken Alfredo was a little dry on one part, but it was pretty good. I got it to go so the Alfredo chicken may not be their fault. Other than that the employees were surprisingly nice.

I am headed south from NY and stopped of to stay the night for some rest, not familiar with the area but happened upon an Applebee’s, we’ve all had our experiences but the young lady working the front of the house was working alone serving and bartending yet she was warm welcoming and engaging to all guests as well as effect it was a more than pleasant experience, I believe her name was Tiarra sorry if not correct, I’ve been in that position and in this day and agents was welcomed refreshing! Thanks for all you do for others ! Tiarra( hope again this is correct if not my apologies it was a brief bit of time)

I been coming to this Applebee’s for a while and the way I see the managers especially the general manager treat their employees is quite disgusting it makes you not want to go on there because u don’t want to have to watch the way they are being treated. I stopped coming for a while because I thought things may have changed but I see they haven’t. The food is good depending on what employees are cooking this place has been going down hill for the past three years me and my buddy’s will never be returning!

I constantly travel for a living. The majority of my hotels are near an Applebee’s……. At this particular location, Sam, my bartender/ sever was most professional, Intuitive, Polite, and full of great suggestions. The Grilled Cheese cheeseburger needs to stay on the menu. All in all; I’m stuck in a strange town for work instead of being home for Christmas. Give Sam a raise for making me feel at home!

Update: the folks at Applebee’s in Salem reached out and asked to fix the issue. Seems they had some new staff that were learning the ropes and my slaw was put into the wrong sized container. They provided me with another order of the tacos either as a takeout order or at the restaurant. We were in Salem for an appointment, so we opted to stop and eat on our way home. They made me a beautiful order of tacos, but in their exuberance in getting them perfect they put too much of the sauce on and the tacos were swimming. They were extra spicy, but I was able to eat most of them after using a napkin to absorb some if the sauce. Since then I’ve picked up a few “to go” orders, asked for extra slaw and they have been perfection.

I picked up 2 of the Chicken Wonton Taco appetizers as a “to go” order on my way home. The order was ready on time and the lady who brought it curb-side was very nice. However, when I arrived home, I found that I had one tiny “to go” cup, only half full, in each of my tacos orders. That is about enough slaw for 1 of the 4 tacos and honestly its the slaw makes these tacos good. Extremely disappointing that I spent $22 on appetizers (and it wasn’t during the half price appetizers timeframe) and the order wasn’t complete like it should have been. You can see in the photos that the “to go” cup is the smallest they have and it’s hardly half full.
