Very slow service considering only 4 other couples were seated. Waited about 10 minutes for someone to seat us. Once we ordered another LONG wait. I think I know why the place isn’t full!!
Notice the corn in the potatoes. SMH skip this place if traveling!!

The food was bad. The service was bad. The wait time was bad. Our server got our drinks and disappeared. We were there for over an hour. The place was disgusting. My daughter actually had to go to the gas station next door to use the bathroom. Our food came out piecemeal and we got no refills. All we were told was they were short-staffed but they were not busy. This is the first time in my life that have not left a tip for the the server. The bathrooms were filthy. You could smell them before you even got close to them. The silverware was dirty. The glasses were dirty. The whole place was dirty. And we were there in late morning.

First let me say on other occasions we have eaten breakfast at the Denny’s in New Philadelphia and had the same and only waitress each time. She is a phenomenal waitress. Your order is always perfect, she is fast, efficient, and very professional. Now for yesterday’s dinner, it was the exact opposite. When we arrived we were slow to be greeted and seated. There were a total of eight tables occupied including ours. It was around 3 pm. There were three people working out front and two cooking. The one gentleman seemed to be only stocking the station. One lady was acting as cashier / hostess. One lady as waitress. I heard the waitress remarking to the kitchen, people would just need to wait to have their order taken as she needed a smoke break and bathroom break due to her UTI. And we did wait and wait. Food started piling up in the kitchen and then all three started delivering trying to catch up. Finally my husband got his dinner and as he was finishing my dinner arrived. The food was good, but the service from the kitchen to the wait staff was undesirable. I highly recommend eating breakfast at Denny’s, not so much lunch / dinner.

Very busy, as expected early on a Sunday. Everyone was very friendly. They just seemed understaffed as it took 25 minutes to get seated. The owner really needs to do something about the booth seats in this place…..half the seat cushion is gone on most of the booth seats here, and that is not the workers fault, that is the owners. Food was alright. But if the owner is reading this, please hire more people and do something about your ripped up seats.

Our waitress today killed it!! I wish I could have gotten her name!! She was truly amazing had us seated right away! Drinks right out and took our order fast and food out quickly!! Keep in mind she was the only employee running the front doing it all for every customer with a smile on her face and I did hear her said I do it all for my babies!!! I truly wish we had more compassionate and caring people like her in this would!!! We were just passing through but I did catch a picture of the back of her in a picture of my husband!!! And girl if you’re reading this you are one of a kind and 1000% amazing!!!!!

Yes, they’re short staffed and I get that, but that place went down hill fast. Seems like no one there cares about their job. We had 4 people and we had breakfast for dinner. I had to send our food back 3 different times. Such a simple meal they didn’t care to get right, and when they did, it was choppy. Once the food was done right, it was pretty good. And everything else tasted fine, including our milkshakes. They were very good.

I’ve been to Denny’s all over the country for over 50 years – I can say with absolute confidence that this location is the worst. The dining area was dirty and the tables nasty and sticky. The waitress was unfriendly, borderline rude. The food took almost a whole hour to arrive and it was cold, bland, and the portion was small! I really don’t know how this place stays in business – other than the location being close to RT 77. I’ll never go to any Denny’s from this point forward.

My husband (a veteran), our two kids, and I decided to stop at this Dennys this morning for his veterans day breakfast, along with breakfast for the rest of the family. Upon entering the restaurant, we were told, “it’s gonna be a minute” by the manager. We waited 5-10 minutes to be seated and when we were seated by the host, she did not ask us about drinks or any other questions. She set the menus down and left. For FORTY minutes my husband and I sat there with our hungry 4 year old and our baby who was only getting fussier. We were completely ignored by the wait staff AND the manager. 20 minutes into our wait, the manager finally asked us what we wanted to drink. When my husband asked if we were still able to get the veterans meal since the sign said “until noon” and it was now 12:20, she replied with an attitude “you’ll still get it” and walked away and didnt say anything the rest of the time we were there. Nobody took our order. In fact, as the time passed we noticed that more than 5 people had come in, been seated, had their food, and some had even eaten and left. At 12:40 we decided to leave. I understand being busy but to be completely ignored was absolutely ridiculous. We will be contacting corporate and won’t be back
