The decor inside is pretty plain. It’s clean, but it feels more like a fast-food style Mexican restaurant with a limited menu. I ordered the pastor burrito and got it “wet” style, which means it’s covered in cheese — and you definitely get your money’s worth on the cheese. It was fresh, flavorful, and good.
However, it was kind of pricey. I paid almost $15 for one burrito. It was large, but for that price I expected maybe a little more included. They do not offer chips and salsa, which surprised me. There’s also no table service — you order, pay, then wait for your number to be called.
Staff was nice — not overly friendly, but not rude either. The hot sauce was phenomenal — great flavor and a good kick to it.
Overall: good food, big portions, clean, simple atmosphere… but on the expensive side for what you get.

Absolutely delicious Mexican food, served fresh and hot. Staff is always friendly and they have (by far) the best burritos in town including a top-notch selection of breakfast burritos. However I had to take 1 star away because they don’t open until 9am. If your gonna serve the best breakfast burrito in town then you gotta open earlier than 9am (if they opened at 730am I’d eat breakfast there every morning ). That aside, the place is great and I highly recommend it especially at the prices they charge compared to similar restaurants.
Dining area is always clean and somewhat better than most fast food places but nothing fancy. You come here for the great food, not for the atmosphere.

Food was okay. It’s hard to top SoCal tacos. However it beats out all of the other Mexican food in Mufreesboro. The tortillas were a bit stale. I got the asada and chicken. I would try it again. Very nice service though

Quality of food has gone down since last time I was here. Fish tacos were fried to a crisp with hardly any meat in them. Shrimp taco had no slaw or sauce. Beef taco had little beef and tasteless. My husband showed the person in charge what the fish looked like and she said, “what do you want done?”

I love tacos, and Oscars is my favorite place to get them. I am a frequent flyer at this particular location, and I have never been let down. The staff are polite and friendly. The place is clean, if a little crowded at lunch time. The food is always, always fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. Added bonus, they have churros. Churros are happiness. Get a churro with your meal.

We tried this spot on a whim and we’re in love. So many green flags. The portions are super generous and the prices are excellent for what you get. Fresh cilantro and jalapeños available. Chill atmosphere. Amazing flavors, fresh tasting ingredients. A seriously great spot.

Ordered a bean & rice burrito – The burrito had one bite of rice, some beans and the rest tortilla. They did not fill this burrito at all. It was disappointing to pay $6 for a tortilla with a bit of beans – No wonder why it was empty on a Saturday!!!
The guacamole was delicious & chips warm.
The staff were very friendly.
***-The Mount Juliet location actually puts food in their burritos, so you are getting more than just an expensive tortilla.

Had a wonderful carne asada burrito today. Picture doesn’t do it justice. Most places stuff burrito with rice and other filler junk. Oscar’s was packed full of steak, with guacamole and Pico! Very good flavor and 1 burrito was plenty of food. Can order it “wet” which has cheese dip on it. I got the standard and very pleased. Looking forward to trying other items next time. Under $10 and gave a military discount.
Tried carne asada taco and carnitas taco today. Excellent! I haven’t tried every Mexican place in town, but these are fantastic legit tacos!
