We had a wonderful authentic Peruvian meal at this small but charming restaurant located inside a Latin market.
I enjoyed my favourite, tallerine verde con bistek (green spaghetti with thin fried steak) and my dining companions enjoyed the chicken and rice. The chicha morada is also refreshing. The flavours transported me right back to Lima. The portions were generous and the prices are reasonable. It’s not fancy but the service is excellent. The menu changes daily so I will return to enjoy other Peruvian delicacies.
Don’t forget to ask for the alfajores. There are a soft round cookie with dulce de leche cream and covered in powdered sugar. A perfect finish to a substantial meal.
