After a few days of gray and unpredictable weather, we lucked out — catching this rare, beautifully balanced pizza while the clouds finally gave way. The dough, slowly fermented and perfectly developed, has that ideal elasticity and chew that only time can create. The marinara leans naturally sweet with just a whisper of acidity, letting the toppings shine.
The maitake mushrooms bring deep, earthy umami, while the Oaxacan cheese adds its signature creamy, slightly tangy flavor with subtle smoky notes — unlike any other melt. Instead of the usual cornmeal, sesame seeds line the crust’s bottom, giving each bite a toasty, nutty finish that lingers.
I’m so glad I got to try it — a true coastal gem I’ll be thinking about long after we’ve gone home.

I ordered 3 pizzas for a ladies trip I had planned in July and Dante’s was a huge hit! The sourdough crust is perfection! The toppings are fresh and local plus they offer vegan options. Hands down the best pizza in Yachats.

The Yachats outdoor Sunday market always has little gems, but we have discovered a new one that is definitely worth visiting: Dante’s il Forno. The owners of this pizza booth were super friendly, the prices were fair, and the food was amazing! We tried 2 kids of pizza (can order by the slice, as we did, or get a whole pizza) and a mochi. The pizza slices were both everything we look for: lovely crusts, delicious proportional toppings, and flavorful sauces. The mochi was a nice treat we enjoyed later and it will be on our list for next time, as well! We already have plans to visit next Sunday!❤️

Um. What?! This stuff is AMAZING! I was randomly walking around the farmers market in Yachats, Oregon & thought I will take a piece of this VEGAN pizza home for dinner. I am completely blown away by the texture, flavor, and the high quality ingredients that were used. Holy cow I’m going to wake up in the middle of the night thinking about this stuff lol! I can’t wait until they open their brick & mortar restaurant someday! See you next Sunday so I can get more pizza!

Delicious! This pizza has just the right combination of sweet sauce, gooey cheese, and fresh ingredients. The crust was pillowy soft with that perfect crustiness on the edge.
