Reviews
We ordered coconut rice, a chicken pad Thai, Tok yum sup and Roti Bread.
I loved the soup except for some hard Thai herbs that you have to pay attentions because they are really hard to chew. I strongly recommend if you take a soup to take also rice in order to eat the broth.
My friend took the pad thai and he loved it.
We spent more than we expected because the waiter added a tip without telling us while paying
We decided to have the red curry, and pad see ew for the main dishes. With both of these items, we got the veggie and tofu version. We also had some of the corn fritters, along with the egg fried rice for sides.
The red curry on the menu was rated 2 out of 3 for spicyness level on the restaurant menu. It was just that amount of spice where you could feel the spice, it wasn’t too spicy, but made my nose run a little bit because of the heat.
What I was most surprised about was the corn fritters. It is a side dish competing for main dish attention. I thought they may come in patties, but they came in a small sphere size, and they were soo delicious. The dipping sauce that came with it was some type of sweet, and possibly sour sauce. The sauce was so good that it was added to my egg fried rice.
It was also great that the table had all the utensils we needed, along with extra napkins, so I didn’t have to ask for more during the process of my meal. It was also great to have some chili oil that was next to the table so that I can add to my liking. For the pad see ew when I order this again when I come back, I will make sure to add extra tofu, so I can get a little bit more protein.
Everything was delicious and the service from Anh was great. She is a fabolous host! Also, get the coconut water! It is a roasted coconut water version, which was out of this world. Thank you to Anh, the other server, and the chefs for making this a great first time experience. I look forward to coming back!
There also some great history along the walls of this restaurant to take in. Comfortable seating here as well!
Last nights food was horrific, to say the least. The two sets of summer rolls had rotten prawns in them, as well as rotten lettuce , that was brown, and then to add insult to injury, the summer rolls were wrapped in al least 5 sheets of rice paper. Like cardboard.
Truly, I do not appreciate paying for food that could cause food poisoning. It should never have been in the premises in the first place , never mind in good conscious to leave the kitchen to paying customers
Unacceptable and dangerous
