This is the best tasting Long John silver’s fish I have had since I was a kid!!! It is an old memory with my dad to have fish like this and my dad is deceased now. I have not seen Long John silver’s fish done like this since I was a kid. I don’t know what all these other stores are doing but they don’t make it right, and they do at this location. This is how the fish is supposed to look. Whoever is cooking the fish at this location, needs to be training people at all the locations on how to make it properly. Unfortunately, I went back on another day when she was not there and it was back to improper fish. The lady that cooked the day that I went there and left the first review she is very good at what she does and not many people know how to make Long John silver’s fish properly. No offense to you young fellows working there tonight. And I revisited this location on the strength of the very good fish that I got from her. But I don’t like to spend my money and not be satisfied, so, I’m about giving up on Long John silver’s.

I’ve been ordering the grilled salmon meal at this seafood restaurant for quite a while, but lately I’ve noticed a disappointing change—the portion size has shrunk noticeably, yet the price remains the same. For what you’re paying here, you’d get a better value at places like Applebee’s or Chili’s, where the salmon dinner offers more substance for the money. This may have been my last salmon dinner here.

First customer of the day, waited 25 min outside due to not being from the area and was passing through. Order in drive thru became a shouting back and forth after asking the member to repeat themselves 2 times and they yelled back “WHAT ARE YOUR 2 SIDES” in an annoyed manner. I ordered 2 fish/3 chicken with fries, ranch, and vinegar.
The fish definitely tastes refried from yesterday (definitely not recently) with a leathery texture on the batter. Notably, for being the first customer, I was confused on the burnt crumbs over all the food, leading to believe its old grease in the fryers/bays or refried food, neither being acceptable, along with the customer service feels slightly intentful. Ive only stomached one chicken and a few fries, almost by my hunger’s force. This is the first time my Long John Silver’s, that I drove out of my way from US65 and waited dearly for, will be dog food..
Also, forgot my ranch.

I came in this evening (5/26/25) and placed a to go order. This manager was very rude and just plain hateful to her employees. I didnt catch her name. But she was a bigger lady with dark hair. I felt bad for the two gentlemen and the cook. She was cussing at them and just talking to down to them. She was just being mean. Nobody deserves to be treated like that. I get it we all have bad days but this was to much. And to top that off i had to wait for fresh chicken and fish and. This is the saddest looking chicken and fish I have ever seen.

This was the nicest franchise location i have ever been to. I was traveling through, and we don’t have them in my state, so it was a treat. This on seemed recently remodeled or new and looked completely different than all of the others. It was a nice atmosphere. The facility was clean. The staff was nice, but the manager must have been training my order taker because she kept interrupting us and talking to the employee like I was not there. She could have handled that differently like later or something, no biggie, just sayin. I took my food to go but realized later there was no fork or napkin. Adain no biggie, but as folks keep wanting to raise the minimum wages, this will not improve these issues from the customer perspective, just raise our expectations. I noticed the bag seemed light weight for being over $12 of food, but it was a great meal and very satisfying. It WAS a treat!

I don’t think anyone is happy to work here, unfortunately. No ice in the machine, no sauces out. I assume it’s because of lack of customers.
But… all other long John’s near me have closed, so I drive 30 min and come to this one. If we all work together and give this place some more business, maybe they can do better.

Ordered 4 dinners one fish and more have 0 fries and shoved it in the smallest box they could find chicken dinners one was nothing in it the other was all fries and 3 of the smallest pc of chicken I have ever seen not even shaped the way they are supposed to be with many fries and 6 hush puppies and one that was OK I guess. You people suck at your job went to greenwood because the locations by us are always horrible. Never going here ever again at any location used to be one of my favorites.

Ordered chicken and hush puppies. Paid $16 to get 5 smaller than bite sized hush puppies. Asked to get at least get more. Said they would drop more. Waited for them to bring out TWO raw puppies. Never again. Photo shows how small the original ones they handed me are to the normal sized ones.
