First time trying it. My husband order through DoorDash and chicken was so dry . Cabbage was more oil then cabbage and jams was like puree and cornbread crumbled from how dry it was. Their food looks completely different on menus than what I received. Not happy at all

I just bought the smothered chicken rice and gravy, macaroni and cheese and collard greens. It has no seasoning. This should not be called soul food. This is some Cracker Barrel level food never no soul food. It ain’t got no seasoning. I took a few bites of everything and throwing it in the trash. Collard greens taste fresh out of a can rice and gravy literally has no flavor. You feel like you’re eating plain chicken covered in some Storball gravy. The macaroni and cheese was just OK but everything together makes you feel like you want to puke so I’m not going to even try to finish this meal. Y’all was lying with these reviews. I put this food on my hotel floor for the roaches that’s how bad it was complete trash. I’m ticked off cause I wasted my time and money.

Our first time at Nana’s. I ordered the wings with two sides $26. My wife had the catfish bites, greens with potato salad also $26. My wings were good but the fries were a bit over breaded and salty. I received four full size wings a little expensive for wings. My wife loved the greens and the cornbread but the catfish bites were just okay. The food was good but pricey. Probably won’t come back. I can get better and less expensive soul food elsewhere.

We celebrated my son’s 17th birthday here and loved it. They were so kind and accommodating; customer service through the roof. It was obvious they wanted everyone to leave happy. And we did! Food was straightforward, made with love, and top notch. You will not leave hungry. We will be visiting again soon just to try everything we didn’t the first time. Thank you Cayenne (hope I’m spelling that right)!

The fried catfish, greens, cornbread, and mac and cheese were amazing! On the next trip, I’ll try the pork chop! Excellent service! Unfortunately, I’m sorry to report that there is no beer… The fish would’ve gone nice with an ice-cold lager!!

Okay Nana’s!!! Visiting out of town from the south, my finance and I wanted something filling and good something other than the usual fast food chains Nana’s didn’t disappoint us.
I got the 2 main and 2 sides, my finance got the 1 main and 3 sides. Goodness the chicken wings were huge and tasty and the shrimp were shrimping with flavor and the “special nana sauce”” mmm mmm.
My fiancé had the pork chops, Mac and cheese, potato salad and candied yams.. I didn’t hear one word from him the whole time .
The food was fresh, hot, and well packaged we did take out, they do have dine in.
The only thing I wasn’t to fond of was the candied yams they were to sweet for my likings great texture though.
I would recommend and eat here again when I visit Seattle-Kent again in the near future.

Went here for dinner back on July 15th, 2024 the day before our 7 day Alaska cruise. I was not disappointed. I ordered the pork chop meal with macaroni and green beans. My Wife ordered the veggie dinner with collard greens, cabbage, sweet potatoes, and macaroni. The pork chops was so tender, and seasoned to perfection. I like to make macaroni myself, and it couldn’t touch mine, but it was still good. My Wife enjoyed all her veggies. I should have known when we walked in and heard the southern gospel music playing, it was going to be some good eating. I think they are carrying on the tradition of their Nana, and it has a lot family history on the walls. Staff was so nice. I left my jacket, and they hung it up for me until I got back to pick it up. I highly recommend Nana’s Southern Kitchen if you’re in the area or visiting.
