If you’re craving a cheeseburger, this is the worst place to go. I ordered 10 cheeseburgers, and not a single one of the ten items contained any cheese. Beyond the missing cheese, the overall quality was deeply unsatisfactory. Each burger was dry and very stale.. creating an unappetizing and unpleasant eating experience.

This place once had excellent food and service. It is truly disheartening to witness such a decline!! Also, The two old ladies that work there seem not to like their job and creating an unwelcome atmosphere.

Blonde with pony tail and white hat was extremely rude to a customer then to me also and I left. Not returning. Every time I’ve gone there she’s been in a bad mood and very rude. She seems like she hates her job. She needs to be put in her place.

Very good not over priced food .
One of the best for quick bites and good old fashioned burgers. No over priced very budget friendly. Staff is so warm and nice bunch of lovely lady’s that work there always a go to when I stop by parking lots a little tight but I drive a very large service truck.

Carter’s feels like a relic from another era, but that’s part of the charm. Two elderly ladies were running the establishment when I visited, but things ran quite smoothly and they were friendly. It is a cash only establishment, but the prices are excellent. I ordered the double cheeseburger combo which came with a pop and fries. It was ready quite quickly, and was delicious without feeling excessive. The cheeseburger had just the right amount of melty cheese and toppings. I was very happy with my meal, and would definitely recommend Carter’s to others.

Honestly the rudest night shift diner older women I have ever met, discriminated on because of my tattoos. I met with some friends last night to have a quick meal after a long day out. The older lady as I walked in the door making sure my mother who is dying of stage 4 lung cancer was doing okay due to the hospice nurse texting me. Before I had a chance to take a step into the door she reprimanded very rudely spoke to me before I had even taken a seat, “are you done on your phone? I won’t serve you on your phone” I politely said “Maam I haven’t taken a seat yet”
She says “that doesn’t matter I won’t serve you on your phone” she pointed at the sign that says “no service while on cellphone” I said “Ma’am respectfully again I hadn’t even taken a seat yet for you to be so rude as I walk in the door” never knowing anyone’s situation. She proceeded to be very passive aggressive and even accused me of having a vape in the store when I don’t even smoke and to prove it to her or I will be asked to leave. Worst service I’ve ever received.

A delightful place for classic burgers and hone made shakes!

The burgers with the fried onions was a nice touch, very delightful. The handmade shakes are really good! Best thing on their menu for sure. The fried were Ok, no salt so they were just alright.

Overall this place is a quiet and quaint dinner that serves classic foods that will be sure to brighten your day and make your belly full and warm. Definitely worth a stop and trying.

Also they only take cash so be prepared!!

Little place with seating available on stools at bar (reminiscent of old style ice cream parlor). Interior is aged but tidy. Service was fast and prices reasonable. Had burgers and they saute the onions on the grill with the meat, also had the onion rings, which were tasty.

Best late night burgers in town, hands down. Old world 40s decor and atmosphere, and a focused breakfast & dinner menu available 24/7, makes for a rare experience in today’s world.

Service can some times be hit or miss but they are usually always quick at getting your food out. This place does something to their burgers that always makes it worth it though. It is also opened really late which is great because when ever other place is closed I can count on this place for a great burger!

I haven’t eaten at Carter’s hamburgers since November of 2019 when I was hit by drunk driver leaving me partially paralyzed walking to my Explorer. It isn’t what I remembered but it was good food. I think it’s been there for about seeing as a rolling Stones since I guess the beginning of time. Just kidding. The ladies are fantastic. They get things done as fast as they can. They have a restroom. It’s not very handicap accessible. If you’re in wheelchair or walker that’s on the first floor in the parking small. The corner is busy but either like greasy hamburgers or you don’t. If you do. Carter’s is a great deal, but the ladies are second to none and the red velvet cake is homemade by Denise and oh man yummy! Okay one complaint of mine is the modern day jukebox. It’s such a tiny place and if somebody doesn’t agree with the music that you like, they’re going to say something. But if they had a jukebox and if I had the money, I’d purchase one. I want an old 45 but your $0.50 in or quarter and watch the record get picked up and put on and play it that way. I don’t want to hear digital content this kind of places. What remind you of what you would watch like on Happy Days with the roller skate servers in the parking lot and that kind of place deserves an original 45 pressed on wax rock and roller
