Me and Mrs. Shamu went in for drinks and got food to go. I had some sort of chicken tacos and she had a beef sandwich. Neither of which were very tasty. However, the service was so fantastic that I’m willing to try The Crooked Pint again. Sincerely . I bet some of the other stuff on the menu is delicious and a person should never judge a restaurant just by one meal. It usually takes five or six meals. Pro tip: If you do get the tacos, go get some salsa from the grocery store for the chips. Or if you want that Crooked Pint flavor without breaking the bank, get some chips from the grocery store and dip them in ketchup.

We ate dinner here on a Saturday in July 2025. The restaurant was busy but not packed and we had no trouble getting a table without waiting. We requested an outdoor table and we were the only people out there, but when we left the patio was filling up.
We ordered a Mad Pepper Lucy, California Lucy, Pepper Jack Lucy and a Peanut Butter Bacon Burger. 2 of the burgers were cooked medium with a little pink and the other 2 burgers were very red in the middle. They also got the sides wrong on 2 of the meals and took them back to the kitchen to be corrected.
The service was quick and the waitstaff was attentive. We had an enjoyable meal.

We came here allot when they first opened in 2012. We spent the first 2 years as regulars here. Then… we came here twice in a row and they burnt our food to the point of being inedible. Today, after 10 years of avoiding this establishment, and now as a Google reviewer, I decided it was time to go back again. I have nothing bad to say about my visit. Must have better talent in the kitchen these days. Crooked Pint may start seeing me more often than never again.

The worst waffle fries we have ever had. It’s like they microwaved some frozen fries and shook some garlic salt on them. Pic is after we finished eating.

Very good food (much better than last time we were there years ago) and excellent service. The nachos were ok, I’d not order them again. The Margarita Flat Bread I’d go out of my way again to get it. I had the sriracha salmon bowl for dinner which I loved. I only wish the piece of salmon for $18 was larger than a 2×2 square. My wife had the Bourbon cranberry chicken salad and absolutely loved it. The prime rib sandwiches were also delicious. My son’s fish was ‘OK’. Not good enough that he’d order it again. The rest we would all reorder. Unlike the last time we were here, I’d easily go back again… Much improved!!!

All of the ‘power bowls’ are poor quality, small size despite being the most expensive items on the menu, and served on a plate instead of a bowl? Otherwise solid despite our server completely missing part of our order. Trivia was fun and highly recommended.

We went with my parents for a burger at lunch time. The crowd wasn’t too bad. We went to the Apple Valley location and had never been to this establishment. The service was quick. We got a prime rib sandwich and a couple burgers. The food was great but I got a pepper Lucy burger and it was underwhelming. The cheese just tasted like jack cheese without any pepper flavor at all. It was good but just disappointed that there was no pepper flavor in the burger.

Wish I could have rated the food, but was just sitting at a table in the bar being ignored, so I never got a chance. I normally like going to these chains but this location is THE WORST. There’s some many of these, if you want a juicy Lucy, go to one of the other locations. Or would reccomend going to one of the other restaurants by this restaurant, there’s plenty of options in the area folks

The service was horrible. Our server seemed irritated the whole time. I went with my 80 year old mom and my aunt. At one point, the server asked,”what do you want?” With a furrowed brow and again, irritated. When approaching our table she didn’t smile or greet us in a friendly manner.
The food was meh. Just your typical mediocre chain restaurant menu.
I was not impressed and the service was horrible. I’d give it a negative 5 stars.
