The line moved methodically as each number was called. The steam table items looked delicious but I was unable to get anything hot as I was on my way out of town after the pickup. I did order an Italian combo sandwich and the uncooked ravioli.
The sandwich was fantastic a few hours later and the cousin reported the the ravioli was as good as he remembered.
There is a small parking lot next to the deli so parking isn’t really bad.
For our meal, we ordered a pastrami sandwich, the oven-roasted chicken lunch special, a side of Italian sausage, tiramisu, and cannoli. Everything we ordered was yummy! Next time, I am ordering just the ravioli alone because that was the highlight of my lunch plate! If it wasn’t going to give me diabetes, I would totally take home the whole rotating case of desserts!
Although it was super busy with a long line out the door, all of the workers there were quick and efficient. All of the guys were polite and served everyone with a smile despite the overwhelming crowd. This place is mostly a takeout deli with a few tables outside.
Overall, I would come back again to try out more food and also check out more of the imported foods.
I also tried the beef ravioli, and the ravioli itself was delicious. Good amount of filling, and very soft mouthful, but my issue is that their sauce was so incredibly sweet, to the point where I could taste no other seasoning or flavor.
Don’t think I can get their ravioli with sauce again. Would come back for the sandwiches
The Chris Combo sandwich was solid. Would definitely order this again.
The beef ravioli was good, not bad but not amazing. Would order to try again.
The Italian was disappointing. Let me clarify, it wasn’t bad but I have high expectations for an Italian sandwich from an Italian deli. To be fair, everyone else thought the Italian was good but also said it wasn’t the best.
I would skip this and get the Chris Combo sandwich instead.
One thing I can honestly say about this place is they are very consistent. the red sauce and ravioli are always awesome.
You need to be patient because there’s always long lines but it’s well worth the wait. their sandwiches are awesome… they have a wonderful Deli as well as a market inside. you can buy anything your little hungry heart desires to eat and walk out with a big smile on your face.
