Authentic Italian feeling deli. The Chris was amazing. My friends turned me on to this place and I see why. Try their Ravioli. I almost bought a bottle of wine to drink with my lunch. The outdoor patio was nice touch on a sunny day.

Went to Bertucelli’s to pickup an order of ravioli for a relative. It is a small Italian deli in Willow Glen area of San Jose. I arrived around 2:00pm on a Friday to find a very long line waiting to order. You have to get a numbered ticket and wait.

The line moved methodically as each number was called. The steam table items looked delicious but I was unable to get anything hot as I was on my way out of town after the pickup. I did order an Italian combo sandwich and the uncooked ravioli.

The sandwich was fantastic a few hours later and the cousin reported the the ravioli was as good as he remembered.

There is a small parking lot next to the deli so parking isn’t really bad.

If I could give more stars, I would. There was not a single disappointing bite. The ravioli was so pillowly & soft, the sandwich was everything you could want in a sandwich, & the potato croquette was packed with flavor. I can’t wait to go back & try out more from the menu. The staff was also very helpful for it being the first time & made great recommendations.

We went here for the first time this past weekend and I now understand why it is always so packed! At first, I was shocked to see the old-school pick-a-number ticket system but was impressed with how efficient it was. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” right?

For our meal, we ordered a pastrami sandwich, the oven-roasted chicken lunch special, a side of Italian sausage, tiramisu, and cannoli. Everything we ordered was yummy! Next time, I am ordering just the ravioli alone because that was the highlight of my lunch plate! If it wasn’t going to give me diabetes, I would totally take home the whole rotating case of desserts!

Although it was super busy with a long line out the door, all of the workers there were quick and efficient. All of the guys were polite and served everyone with a smile despite the overwhelming crowd. This place is mostly a takeout deli with a few tables outside.

Overall, I would come back again to try out more food and also check out more of the imported foods.

If you haven’t eaten here yet…it’s time. From the counter, a Chris Combo, arancini, and a serving of the cesar pasta salad will do you good. Make sure to grab a number right when you walk in the door and expect to wait 15+ minutes in line. But every bite is fantastic.

Chris Combo lives up to the hype! It’s a very good sandwich on soft bread, with a very creamy spread. Overall a salty, yummy cold cuts sandwich.

I also tried the beef ravioli, and the ravioli itself was delicious. Good amount of filling, and very soft mouthful, but my issue is that their sauce was so incredibly sweet, to the point where I could taste no other seasoning or flavor.

Don’t think I can get their ravioli with sauce again. Would come back for the sandwiches

Ordered a salami sandwich on dutch crunch and ravioli. The dutch crunch roll was stale and deflated, it tasted like it was previously frozen and double baked. The ravioli also didn’t taste fresh, the cheese was so spongy and flavor was just okay. The worst part is that my sandwich had a shard of what I’m assuming is ceramic. Really don’t get the love for this place, you can get better sandwiches at Subway.

Cool place – worth checking out. Staff was friendly and service was quick. We ordered beef ravioli, Chris Combo and an Italian sandwich.

The Chris Combo sandwich was solid. Would definitely order this again.

The beef ravioli was good, not bad but not amazing. Would order to try again.

The Italian was disappointing. Let me clarify, it wasn’t bad but I have high expectations for an Italian sandwich from an Italian deli. To be fair, everyone else thought the Italian was good but also said it wasn’t the best.

I would skip this and get the Chris Combo sandwich instead.

Their homemade raviolis are pure yumminess.
One thing I can honestly say about this place is they are very consistent. the red sauce and ravioli are always awesome.
You need to be patient because there’s always long lines but it’s well worth the wait. their sandwiches are awesome… they have a wonderful Deli as well as a market inside. you can buy anything your little hungry heart desires to eat and walk out with a big smile on your face.

We’ve tried the ravioli (two types: meat and cheese ravioli) and both were amazing. I also got a Chris special sandwich and meatball sandwich and enjoyed every single bite of it. If I had to choose one, I’d go with the Chris special as it has a super creamy and delicious sauce in it. I also tried their tiramisu. A little sweet for me but that is probably just a personal preference so I defenitely recommend it. The cashiers were all friendly and polite. That is what you’ll only see and tell when you go to an authentic Italian deli. My only complaint is about their working hours. Why on earth you guys close at 5:30 pm? You guys are so so amazing that you should keep the store open 24/7. Love you guys and Ciao
