I’ve been eyeing this restaurant for a while and finally gave it a try! The food was great! I ordered the red snapper dinner and my guest ordered the chicken parmigiana. Everything was flavorful and tasty. The Baklava cheesecake was also a hit with the authentic ice cream parlor style ice cream. However, the service was lacking. The waitress didn’t assist us with the menu even though we told her we were first timers, took 10 minutes to give us menus, and had no personality whatsoever. I wish the service could improve but everything else was spot on.

Everything about this awesome place is 5 stars!! Highly recommend 🙂 As a Tallahassee native, I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times over the years and never had a bad experience. Most recently, I booked one of their private event spaces/rooms for my company holiday party. I had 22 guests and the whole event went absolutely swimmingly with no issues at all. When I first made the reservation a month in advance, I was put in contact with Taylor, the main event coordinator at Georgios, and he made sure that the process was as easy and smooth as possible for me and was fantastic with the communication with me! On the night of our party, we were assigned 2 servers to help take our orders and take care of my group overall – They were Skyler and Pat – and they did a terrific job hosting us and serving us and making sure my guests had a wonderful experience. Huge shout out to Taylor, Skyler, and Pat and a big thank you to Georgios for being so amazing!! 10/10 will be back soon!

In town for the Greater American Realtor Days and Southern Title hosted a dinner here and let me tell you!! What an experience. The food was great and tasty, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was awesome. Even the owner came out and greeted and thanked us for visiting his establishment. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant for a family in town, friends looking to have an intimate dinner, or a company event with a bunch of people. There’s a private room in the back and the service is great. 5 ⭐ across the board. Visit and let them know Jean sent you.

Food was delicious. My server Mason was awesome as well. It was a great experience until I noticed the 3% “operational fee to offset costs”. Yes, I know it’s a whole $1.20, but absolutely tired of being nickel and dimed everywhere I go. Offset rising industry expenses!? As if your pricing doesn’t already reflect that? It’s insulting.

I was fully expecting one of your signature snark-laden replies, the kind that seem to flow so effortlessly from your keyboard whenever even mild criticism is received, and I must say, you did not disappoint!
You openly acknowledge that rising costs have forced you to charge more, yet also admit that transparently adjusting menu prices might cause you to lose customers. Your workaround? Tucking the added costs into fine print and hoping diners won’t notice until the check arrives. A clever solution, I suppose on raising prices without technically raising prices.
Why not simply raise menu prices by 3% and call it what it is? Adding surprise fees at the end of a meal isn’t innovative; it’s shady at best and, more accurately, unethical.
You also speak with great pride about being open since 1994. Are you genuinely suggesting that prices remained untouched for nearly three decades until COVID arrived? If so, that’s remarkable! Or, far more likely, when food, supply, and labor costs rose over the years, you raised menu prices accordingly. A wild concept, I know!
I’ll end on a positive note. I wholeheartedly agree with two points from your hissy fit response: I should not have left a two-star review, and I also wish I had never come in. Fortunately, one of those things I could fix.

Hard to rate a restaurant where you never get waited on. Booth behind me arrived after I did and were waited on and they had a great conversation. Wait staff walked by. Host walked by. No one even stopped and said they’d be right with me. I could have written a novella in the time I waited. I had a very nice dinner here last week but I guess that was a fluke. Took my 85-year-old mother there for Thanksgiving day and what a disappointment we both had the turkey dinner and at $40 a plate should have been a lot more food than they delivered the turkey was dry the green beans were supposed to be to be cooked al dente but they were more on the raw side and the pumpkin pie we had for dessert which was an extra nine dollars Was the size of a child’s portion. And the service was not too great either it didn’t correlate with the price of the meal, our waitress never bought any bread out to us with our salad never asked us if we wanted any and when I did get some bread I was done with my salad my mother had to ask twice from the waitress for a glass of wine. The whole event was a big disappointment and the kicker was that when she bought the bill there was an operational fee on there which the waitress said was to keep down the cost of the food at 40 bucks a plate for a turkey dinner you need more money give me a break the only saving grace was the atmosphere which was very quiet and that was probably due to all the old people that were in there I do not recommend this place and will not be going back there there are plenty of other good restaurants in Tallahassee that have much better food for the money and better service

We had a blast. Our server Taylor made excellent recommendations and took great care of us. We made a reservation ahead of time and needed to change tables last minute. They accommodated us immediately to a perfect spot.
Highly recommend the snapper and the chicken parm. Can’t go wrong. Chef special arancini was also a huge hit.

Loved it and that’s remarkable for me in Tallahassee. I’m originally from a foodie city and then lived 10 years in Europe. My husband is German. I guess we’re inadvertently foodies because we’ve tried dozens of restaurants in Tally and surrounding area only to leave as soon as we arrived because the place was filthy or left after our meal frustrated and disappointed. Not at Georgio’s. It was perfection start to finish. Immaculately clean. Wonderful service with our server Jack who was quick to answer questions and accommodats my dietary restrictions. The food was impeccable. Felt like we were directly on the Med. Georgio clearly has very high standards. Can’t wait to return.

I personally will not return. Maybe it was just the night, but, I was not pleased after spending $37 on a seafood and artichoke pasta dish. The flavor was good, but the shrimp was tiny and the artichokes were hard. Not worth $37. The menu said soup or salad was included in the already overpriced meal, however, the server did not tell me that only included a house salad, she did not tell me there is a $4.00 upcharge if you order a Cesar salad, which I would not have ordered if I had known. Honestly the Cesar salad wasn’t even good, small salad, barely any Cesar dressing and stale croutons. The Atmosphere was quite. The drink menu is good. Plenty of parking. Maybe a steak would have been a better choice.
