2/10, portions are ridiculous, they serve a whole box of noodles/rice and just like 2 spoons of chicken… bland, no taste at all just a box full of grease without any joy. Hate to waste my money, I gave a 2 out of 10 just because it’s cheap, really disappointed not only that after I ate this my stomach was upset

That lady is disgusting. She’s running the cash register, taking cash and other payments. The first thing she does after 9f stick her hand in everyone’s to go plate. Where your food is going to be.

Most places to this. Most people don’t notice or care. I’m not most. First, I politely asked if they have gloves. She said they don’t wear gloves. Then I politely asked if she could grab the box from the outside, something I frequently request. She adamantly told me she couldn’t do that, then did it, just to stick her full fingers back in the box.

I walked away. These establishments are so accustomed to just pushing food out the sanitary food prep doesn’t even cross their minds. Pay attention when you come here and see if whoever at the cash register doesn’t serve you like this. And you may be in the majority who doesn’t care.

But if you aren’t, FYI!

I ended up right next door at Cedeños Cuban Cafe. Much more kind and accommodating people. And a LOT of food for an unbelievably great price.

The best chicken teriyaki in town!!
My favorite is chicken teriyaki and I always add extra meat. It comes with rice and veggies.
The sauce is very tasty, the chicken is tender, and the veggies are fresh. Love it!!
The portion is so big that I could eat it for my lunch and dinner.
Will definitely going back again for more!!!

I cannot get tired of their teriyaki chicken. My last trip to this location ended with a rare thunderstorm that flooded the entire parking lot. I got soaked and my car almost got stuck in the water. Despite all this, I was happy that I went. I love watching the people cook the orders as well. I don’t know why. I just do.

As Whole Food Plant Based and gluten free, low salt, low oil, low sugar people my adult daughter and I rarely eat out. We are also low consumers so we rarely go to the mall. Well, for a change of pace we went to the Broward Mall today to just look around. We didn’t expect to be there long enough to get hungry but there we were. We looked at all the offerings in the food court and Sanku Japan had something we thought was a good start. it was called Vegetable D”Lite.
The man who served us, perhaps the owner, I don’t know, assured us it was not cooked with any added meat ingredients. We decided on a single order to split between us since we knew it wasn’t going to satisfy us for a complete lunch. No protein was included. It was a generous serving of brown rice, we paid extra for brown rice, carrots, a few sprigs of broccoli, and a lot of cabbage. It was cooked up quickly on the grill.
It was a good start but for this food to be great it needed more flavor. First, we noticed it could have been cooked a little longer. I suggest cooking it with some garlic and green onion and a touch of sesame oil to really make it good. Offering an option of adding a vegan protein, such as edamame it would become a healthy vegan meal. Finding healthy vegan meals is difficult or non-existent. I cook Asian food for us daily and these simple low cost changes would make this restaurant cutting edge. I hope they do improve this offering. It is not good enough for us to return at this point. I do want to point out that though I had to ask for soy sauce, he was generous with the packets and the soy sauce was gluten free. We appreciate that.

Tried this place for the first time because my mom wanted a vegetable noodle dish. Keep that in mind: VEGETABLE. While they were cooking it, I noticed they used the same turners for SHRIMP and then back on her noodles — no cleaning in between. She has a serious seafood allergy, so even that brief contact could make her really sick. It’s a huge health risk. Since the food was nearly done and already paid for, I ended up eating it (even though I also can’t have seafood, just not as badly) and sent my mom to get something for herself from the Cuban Café next door. Disappointed and won’t be back — trying something new shouldn’t come with this kind of risk.

I know this is mall food but this has to be the worst food ever. We ordered the dumplings that every place else has pork them, here they’re just cabbage. In our order of teriyaki beef and shrimp, half of the container was filled up with shredded cabbage, and a couple carrots. The shrimp tempora had one skinny little strip of shrimp in the middle of the breading. Ready total garbage.

One off the best customer service, and food spots in Fort Lauderdale, every time we visit this is our first stop, even before we check in the hotel. Just to see her for her worm welcome.

This sarku is not as clean as the others there is dust and dirt caked on some of there decor and is just over all not as clean as the other sarku resturants. Taste wise they also do not live up to the sarku name. The chicken was overcooked and neither the vegetables or the chicken tasted fresh how ever the workers behind the counter were friendly.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Absolutely terrible and nonexistent customer service. No one spoke English. I wanted to make sure my meal was vegetarian and the staff assured me it was, but the noodles tasted and smelled fishy. The owner refused to remake my order or even refund me. I took 2 bites and my stomach felt awful. Not to mention the spring rolls were absurdly oily, as they were Dripping in oil. Will never eat here again. It is BARE MINIMUM that the employees speak English and can ensure my meal is vegetarian
