Permanently Closed!!?? We had a wonderful dinner here on Friday. Then, we went back last night with family, and there were signs on the front doors that said “Permanently Closed”!! The tables inside were piled up. Very surprising, and dissappoiting.

Terrible Manager Kristeena, Ghost Town for a reason.
We went out to celebrate as a family and waited quite a long time to be greeted, even though the place was very empty and the staff walked by a few times. We were a bit concerned about how the service was going to be if the restaurant was that slow. But we were eventually seated and we were pleasantly surprised at how kind and helpful the two waitresses were that helped us.
However…we were shocked to find the $6.99 kids burger was a literal quarter of a normal size burger (you could see how it was a 1/4 cut from a burger) and the bun was smaller than their free rolls. When we voiced concern about how expensive the kids’ meal was for such a small portion, the waitresses agreed and they went to talk to the manager. They came back to say that they were going to comp the kids’ meal. They asked if we wanted to order another meal, to which we said no, and then they asked if we wanted another side for our son. We said “let’s see” as we wanted to see if he’d be full before ordering more food.
When we got the check, we found that the kids’ burger had not been removed, and we were then told that it would have only been comped IF we had ordered something else, which we would have done. After talking to the waitress, Kristeena Smith-Jackson, the Service and Guest Relations Manager came out and asked us, “How can I help you?” We explained what the waitresses had told us, but her demeanor was abrasive and rude, and she refused to honor what we were told. Before and after her coming out to our table, we could hear her yelling in the kitchen, at our waitresses. It was completely unprofessional and sounded like verbal abuse. One of the waitresses came back and apologized, then gave us two coupons for a future visit ($10 off a $40 purchase and a free entree with $25 purchase). I have no interest in going back to Logan’s again, at least at that location, which is very sad because we have always enjoyed that restaurant and location. The place was a complete ghost town while we were there between 7:40 and 9:00, and if that’s the way the manager usually conducts herself, perhaps there’s an obvious reason the place was so empty.

Logan’s Roadhouse is usually a solid choice. The food came out hot and the service was friendly, but my steak was a little too salty this time. That being said, the rolls are always the highlight for me—they never disappoint! Overall, not a bad experience, but room for improvement.

Ordered take out. It said pick up at 7:13pm
We arrived at 7:15, no hostess or a single worker up front. The few we saw acted like they didn’t see us or greeted us while standing at hostess stand. Eventually we went to the bar and asked the bartender about take out. We ended up sitting at the bar for another 25 minutes waiting for the food to come out. While this happened a lady that ordered 3 steak dinners for take out said screw this and walked out. A mom and daughter both asked for the tab with full plates of food and heard them tell the bartender they think it sat for a while and neither wanted to take it home.
Finally get home to eat. Bartender said food will be super fresh. That was not the case. Fries were super soggy and stale. No Parmesan Peppercorn sauce or cheese on my chicken sandwich plus the lettuce looks terrible.
Was excited for dinner but just over paid for trash food and service. Really disappointed and definitely do not recommend.

I should’ve walked out after dealing with the hostess. My children and I were the only ones in the waiting area. An employee walked up to the hostess station eating a roll. She didn’t say anything, eventually made eye contact briefly and smiled. I assumed she must not be the hostess. A family walks in after us, she addresses them and checks them into the system. My husband then walks in and she offers to help him. I asked her why she thought I was just sitting at the desk in a wheelchair and she just shrugged her shoulders, checked us in and went back to eating her roll, dipping it into butter. We were told it’d be 10-15 minutes. Within 5 minutes, at least 6 additional parties came in, checked in and waited for their tables. Meanwhile, it’s about 4 PM on Mother’s Day, and the dining room is practically empty. We were brought to a table within 10 minutes, but hardly anyone else was being sat. We could definitely tell they did not have it together. It wasn’t just poor management, it was no common sense or concern from staff. So, we sit at the tiniest, and pretty dirty, table and meet our waitress. She was pleasant and trying her best at the sh*tshow this place has become. We had chicken tenders and ribeyes. The kids complimented the tenders. The steaks we’re almost grayish looking, a bit fatty, but looked normal inside after cutting into it. They were also cold. The mac n cheese tasted old and microwaved (they used to have real mac n cheese), they have waffle fries instead of the good steak fries they had, the mashed potatoes are NOT the same (they almost taste instant) and the garden salads sucked too. We did not complain, as we had accepted the fact this place just sucks. Overall extremely disappointing. We’ve had some bad experiences at this location before, but it’s obvious they are poorly staffed, lack any sort of management and the quality of the food is bad. Lesson finally learned and we will never go to this location again.

First of all please get this location staffed or just shut down. Our server was hosting, serving, and the host?! So of course our food took awhile when there were only 2-3 other tables. My garden salad was mainly spoiled (floppy and brown as shown in the pic.) But I just ate around the worst parts cuz I hate complaining. Then the portion of fries was literally a handful and looked like a kids side which for a $24 meal yikes. Graciously the kind food runner got us more. She asked me to cut into the steak to make sure it was made correctly… it was solid brown and hard so nope. As they were re making it I took a sip of my fresh glass of water and it tasted like salty dish water literally, even my bf agreed. That was my last straw with this place as I was looking forward to a nice meal after work so sadly I lost my appetite. Didn’t want the steak anymore and asked for a to go container for my bf’s meal. PLEASE GO TO THE OTHER LOCATION (located in grandville.) They’ll get it right lol. But I do appreciate the awesome server and feel very bad for her as she’s doing it all there.

Sat down at the bar at 12:04 today(3/29/25) and was greeted by the bar tender,Jeremey,at 12:10. They had him taking tables and manning the bar and still was on his game. Good, quick service and the fried pickles were amazing(as usual). Stayed for 3 beers and some food and Jeremey was on top of it from the start. I’ve had ALOT of terrible service at this exact location,I’ll go back just for Jeremey the

Great food as always. The service was solid, the food was delicious. As always the rolls were spot on. It has maintained it’s classic steakhouse feel and classic steakhouse menu, while expanding the menu to create options for the whole the family. Kids meals are free on Wednesday’s which is a perk for families, however, it is in kids meal per adult purchase. So families larger than 4 don’t get the same deal. Our kids love the Roadhouse feel and enjoy the peanuts and the ability to throw the shells on the floor. All if this adds up to an enjoyable meal, family friendly atmosphere, and (if you choose wisely) affordable for an entire family.

Oh we love this place. Happy hour is our favorite. Great drinks and appetizers. And you still get to throw the peanut shells on the floor!
