The BEST FOOD IN TOWN!!! The best service.!!! Nothing over here was less than an 8. The food was delicious and everything was so fresh. Even the vegetarian patty for the sandwich was amazinggggggg…. It wasn’t dry, it was nice and fresh and had a flavor other than mushrooms.!!! Finally someone who can make good vegetarian food, and not just throw mushrooms in everything. The potatoes were delicious.!!! The French toast Finnish was so good and the CRÈME BURLE WAS TO DIE FOR!!!!!! And it did not cost us an arm and a leg.. it was very reasonable and would COME HERE ALL THE TIME FROM NOW ON!!!! Thank you!!!!

✨Bodega in Marquette deserves every bit of hype it gets. The staff was incredibly kind—genuinely warm, helpful, and you can tell they love the place they work in. The whole environment feels laid-back and comfortably hippie-ish, like the kind of spot where you instantly relax the second you walk in the door.
Their menu is full of unique, creative options you don’t see everywhere, and everything we tried was delicious. I ordered the tacos and they were so good—fresh, flavorful, and definitely something I’d go back for again. They also have a ton of fun merch inside, which we ended up loving just as much as the food.
If you’re in Marquette and want good vibes, kind people, and amazing food, Bodega is absolutely worth the stop.✨

We’d been wanting to try Lake Superior whitefish, and ordered both the lemon butter and the blackened. The fish tasted fresh and veggies were comforting, almost like a homecooked meal. You can tell this place takes pride in using local ingredients and slow cooked food. With reasonable prices, it was a wonderful stop for travelers in Marquette.
I definitely recommend the fish with fries and mayo, it was a perfect pairing. The atmosphere was great, everything felt clean, and even though we arrived quite late, the staff still welcomed us with friendly service. I highly recommend this place!

The BAD-
Dont order French toast here.
It’s DRY, and HARD to eat .
I don’t think they dipped the sourdough bread into anything because it was SO DRY, I couldn’t even eat it. Was a little not happy that I didn’t eat just 1 bite but they still charged me. Yiu can see in my pictures just HOW DRY it was!
Tasted like nothing but cinnamon bread, with syrup & butter. YUCK.
The GOOD-
BEST eggs I’ve had in years! Love that they made my fried /over hard eggs extra golden brown, they were SOOO GOOD!
The fried potatoes I also added onions to, weren’t bad either. Could’ve had larger onion chunks and more onions but pretty tasty !!

I ordered the beet salad with whitefish added. I drank the crisp water I was served. I read the materials on the table , which taught me that the food takes longer to make because it is hand made. I waited for about 25 minutes, so I can agree with it.
I spend my waiting time ‘people-watching” from the window close to me.
The atmosphere is definitely the highlight of the restaurant.
The salad though small was very flavorful!

The food here is incredible. When you arrive you are greeted with a table card that tells you to expect a wait because the food is made fresh. Some might meet that with distain but the wait is worth it. My dish was huevos rancheros and it might have been the best Mexican breakfast dish I’ve ever had. Garbage Disposal Dad polished off everyone’s else’s plates. Do not skip Bodega.

We had another fantastic meal at Bodega. They had a special of romesco brussel sprouts that was delicious! We used the leftover sauce to dip our fries and our server was kind enough to bring extra. The fries are hand cut, generous portion, and perfectly salty. We also had French toast (breakfast all day!), orbit burger (homemade and vegetarian and could be vegan), and a Cuban sandwich and all were fantastic with house made bread. Do yourself a favor and patronize this fantastic business!

Our waitress was knowledgeable about celiac and my meal was prepared safely. I’m extremely sensitive to cross contamination and I did NOT get sick. My burger with a gluten free bun was good and the fries were prepared in a separate fryer.

Absolutely amazing! The food is so spectacular!! We absolutely loved being able to experience Bodega on our drive up to Houghton MI. The cocktails, mocktails, breakfast, lunch, and dinner options were so yummy, just absolutely wonderful and the food was worth the wait. Please order the cinnamon rolls to go with your coffee, you will love it. Additionally, the team was so amazing!!! They got us a high chair to use with our 14-months-old daughter and we got an extra free espresso in my coffee! They are so great with kids. Diaper changing table available in the women’s restroom! Bonus points for the positive vibes and many many beautifully healthy live plants including a gorgeous pothos plant that went all across the ceiling and down our lamp at our table. Love this place, we will definitely be there again.

Food was amazing. Service was okay. Damien was the bartender when we were there. He was more focused on his friends visiting him at work than he was with his other customers. We did not get silverware, or napkins, we did not get offered drink refills (water nor the other beverages), nor did he check in on us once the food got to us- we had questions regarding the cheese and I would’ve liked to ask about getting some crackers. We received more interaction from the other employees that passed by us than we did by him.
