My husband and I visited Whiskey Taco for the first time last night and really enjoyed it. I ordered three tacos, the Korean, Whiskey, and Carnitas Pineapple, along with beans and rice. My husband had the Texas Fajitas and a Whiskey Taco Bowl.
The Korean taco was easily my favorite. It was packed with flavor and had plenty of sauce. I liked the other two tacos as well, though next time I order the Whiskey taco I will ask for the egg over easy. The fully cooked egg made it a little dry, even with the sauce.
We both appreciated how unique the menu is compared to most Mexican restaurants. The portions were slightly on the smaller side, but not unreasonable. My husband is a big eater and usually only orders one entrée at Mexican restaurants where he orders two at most other establishments, but after seeing review photos he decided to order two, and that turned out to be the right call.
There are still several menu items we are excited to try, and we will definitely be back.

Our waitress was nice. The food was delicious. The decor was cool. Chips & salsa was good. The salsa was a little spicy for me. The only bad thing was she didn’t ask if we wanted dessert.

Great salsa, not sweet like a lot of places here. Cheese quesadilla was very cheesy and fully melted. Birria Supreme nachos were flavorful and had a good portion of meat. Server was friendly.

We visited this place for lunch. The staff was prompt to greet us and bring us chips and salsa. The salsa is homemade there and was so good and flavorful. My husband and I each ordered the lunch fajitas and was surprised at how much you got for the price. The food was really good and perfectly cooked. The waiter was attentive and refilled our drinks promptly. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone in the area, and if you are in the area, it is worth the drive.

Came in at around dinner time last week. Was seated right away in the back near the bar. The food and drinks were fantastic. I had the Pollo Loco, huge portions of chicken and chorizo. It was delicious as we’re the drinks. Only thing lacking which was the service, the bartender was waiting on the whole bar area which slowed things down for everyone. Otherwise a great night

I was excited about this place and it was definitely not a let down. The chips and salsa were great. Queso was perfect and the guacamole was ON POINT!!! The tacos were also DELISH. In the accompanying pic the taco in the left is the BB Fish and the one on the right is the WHISKY TACO! They were both amazingly delicious. I am looking forward to coming back again to try more. We have family that live new Hurricane so this will be a usual stop. See you all again soon. Thanks!!!

Food tasted good and there was a lot of cute decor. Downside was the salsa and guacamole needed salt (and there was no salt or pepper on the table), and I ordered molé sauce with my enchiladas but they brought me red sauce—and not much of that. But in all, it was a positive dining experience.

Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had! Service was poor! Took a long time to get the food. Chips and salsa weren’t served for close to 10 minutes after being seated. Food was absolutely terrible! Won’t be going back!!
