Classy Italian eatery with brick-oven pies, pasta dishes, a curated wine list & contemporary decor.

The restaurant is located in the Howard Beach section of Queens. They prepare Italian cuisine. Soups, salads, pastas, entrees, pizzas, desserts and beverages are available. We ordered the baked clams oreganata and fried calamari appetizers. The margherita pizza was prepared in an on site wood-burning oven. The filet of sole oreganata and linguine bolognese were selected as entrees. The food was excellent and very well-prepared. The pizza was freshly made and tasty. Very friendly and helpful staff.

After a successful event, my colleagues and I decided to celebrate at Bruno Restaurante—and it was the perfect choice. From the moment we arrived, the team welcomed us warmly and honored our reservation with a fantastic table that made the evening feel even more special.
The waiters were incredibly attentive, consistently checking in and offering a wonderful variety of meat and fish platter specials that were both flavorful and beautifully presented. The ambiance struck the perfect balance of elegance and comfort, creating a relaxing space to unwind and enjoy great conversation.
What made the experience even more meaningful was that I brought my son along. Even as a picky eater, he was able to find his favorites and truly enjoy the meal, which speaks volumes about the restaurant’s thoughtful menu and accommodating service.
And we can’t forget the desserts—the variety was absolutely delicious, and not a single crumb was left behind at the table.
Overall, a memorable dining experience filled with great food, warm hospitality, and the perfect atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

Raphael took wonderful care of us. Food was superb and the atmosphere is very charming. It is a cute little neighborhood restaurant with fabulous food and a good vibe. My daughter and I ate here when we were staying over at a hotel near JFK. You know you are in for a treat when they come by and show you the fresh fish and fresh steaks. Service was terrific. Highly recommend.

We landed at JFK and called ahead to make sure that they could accommodate us stopping by for dinner before we went to our hotel. Amazingly friendly people who were happy to store our luggage. We had a great authentic Italian meal. Couldn’t recommend the restaurant or the food more highly!!!

April 2025. Very good courteous staff, very good atmosphere, very pricey, but tasty food, Omaha steak for two can b share by three. Nice & professional presentation of steaks & lobsters prior to ordering. Excellent location with plenty of street parking in the area. High clientele from 7pm forward. Fully recommended

To celebrate our son’s graduation from college, he wanted Italian food, I didn’t want to drive to NYC on a Friday, opted to find something closer and Bruno was a great option, happy we went there, everyone was happy with the food and service we received.
