For some reason, this place does not taste very authentic. Some of their seasonings are a little bit bland. We got the strawberry and mango kids smoothie and they tasted kind of artificial? I don’t really know how to describe it. We came on a not so busy day and the server was kind of slow. She had a positive attitude though! I do think their serving portions are fully reasonable for the pricing but the food itself was mediocre. I got the mushroom spinach/chicken quesadilla it was a decent 6.5/10. And my cousin ordered the fajita tacos and the taco shells tasted kind of like store-bought prepackaged shells. Despite this, I would say the decorations in here are very interesting and fun! Overall good vibes.

I dined in for breakfast with strangers for a networking event and found the atmosphere, service and layout very good. Pricing selection and portions were good also.

It’s well laid out with good accustics in that the noise levels are well managed by the design. I will go back and try other times of day.

Super tasty TexMex style Mexican food in a relaxed, fun family-friendly environment. Chips and salsa arrive when you sit down and honestly the salsa is truly addictive! Spicy but not hot, just the right amount of flavors from the tomatoes and onions and cilantro. I had a grilled vegetable burrito packed with peppers, mushrooms, and onions. The refined beans are perhaps the best I’ve tasted, and the fresh jalapeños on top brought it all together. My dad had a breakfast burrito stuffed with eggs and potatoes and covered with cheese and refried beans. We both loved the food and the wait staff was friendly and easy going. I’d recommend any of their mothers Virginia locations for a great TexMex style Mexican dinner! Plenty of options for vegans (me), vegetarians, and meat eaters.

Anita’s in Vienna is one of those rare places that never misses, whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout on the go. And a huge part of that is thanks to Kevin and Matilda!

Kevin is incredible. He’s fast, friendly, remembers everyone, and brings this genuine, welcoming energy that makes every experience better. Even when I’m just picking up an order, he still treats me like I’m sitting down for a full meal.

Matilda is just as amazing. Sweet, professional, and always on top of everything. She makes sure every detail is right, hot food, accurate orders, and service that feels personal every single time.

Together, they’re the heartbeat of Anita’s. They elevate both dine-in and takeout, and they’re the reason I keep coming back.

If you want great food, great people, and takeout that’s always perfect, go to Anita’s in Vienna. Highly recommend.

I love this place for the food. I used to pick up breakfast burritos several times a month for morning meetings. I have stopped because I hate using the online ordering form and their phone is always “busy” in the morning. It’s more expensive and inconvenient if I’m hustling kids to school and just wanting to pick up breakfast on the way and calling in an order. Why do businesses continue to make things more expensive and inconvenient for the customer? So disappointing, my team now gets donuts instead.

I can’t recommend this location enough! Food is fantastic but what truly captures how special the atmosphere is, is the wonderful staff. Matilda is beyond wonderful to interact with because of her warming personality and has turned into a friend from my frequent trips to Anita’s!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Town of Vienna, every time I’m in town I stop by and get several of their legendary breakfast burritos. They built this iconic location in the early 90’s and it’s a landmark of the town. Their entire menu is excellent.

This place is an absolute gem. In my opinion one of the best breakfast spots in the DC area. So many breakfast burritos to choose from that it will satisfy anyone’s diet. Quick, affordable and unpretentious.

My family and I are huge fans of Mexican food! We decided tonight to try Anita’s. We thought the reviews were not over the top but also not bad. Let’s see what it is about. It was bad! I wish no star was an option. We arrived around 8. The place was not crowded for Saturday evening, which was not promising. Parking was available, so that s always good. We got in, and the atmosphere was from the early 90s. The place definitely needs some updates. It was very cold, which some might like. We were directly served some chips and salsa. The cheapest salsa from the supermarket is probably better. The salsa was not fresh at all. We ordered guacamole for a starter, a margarita for a drink, and for the mains: steak fajitas, beef burrito, green chili pork burrito, and Carne Asada. Guacamole tasted like it was made out of a powder. It did not taste like guacamole at all. It tasted bad, to say the least. The meat used in the fajitas was the cheapest meat you could taste. It did not have any flavor. The burritos were “Taco Bell” quality. Chipotle is a luxury compared to this. The refried beans were so watery. The cherry on top was the margarita. What kind of Mexican restaurant doesn’t know how to make a margarita. The cup looked good, but the drink we couldn’t swallow. It was extremely sweet, and the dosage was off. It was not worth it. Definitely not going back!!!

Terrible service from Manuel at the takeout counter. He was incredibly rude, clearly incompetent, and got our order wrong THREE TIMES without so much as an apology and we’ve been standing at the counter for 45 minutes.

It was obvious the kitchen was overwhelmed and struggling under his lack of organization and care. The owners seriously need to reconsider who they have representing their restaurant—Manuel is doing more harm than good. Time to bring in staff who actually understand customer service.
