We went for lunch. This place was awesome, it had a very nice atmosphere and the girls attending were kind. The food was also very tasty as well as their lattes, we had their Texas Wagyu Hot Dog and Corned Beef Sandwich, the corned beef sandwich has a strong pickled flavor and spicy (or you can skip the jalapeños) so if you like that I’ll definitely recommend trying it. They also give you a great amount of fries that we couldn’t even finish them but not a problem at all!
They have plenty options of seating, inside with the tables, bar, counter and booth. Outside they have tables and high stools.

Cool place in downtown to have breakfast. Nice service and good seating arrangements. Reasonable selection though not as large as other places, adding a few omlets at least will be great for non meat eaters. However I had this “breakfast split” with bananas, berries, yogurt and granola. Very nice, filling and fresh! Courteous staff of course!!

Got chicken and waffles & matcha – a bit of a wait & was disappointed by the food quality in the end. Chicken was quite dry, and the waffle plain. Had to add a lot of condiments & seasoning to make up for the (lack of) flavor. Matcha was okay, not super well-mixed. Pricey for the actual quality & volume of the food, but not at all dissimilar from other Austin restaurants.

That said, baristas and servers were all very kind & welcoming & accommodating. I also came at an inconvenient time (1pm on a weekend), right before the switch from brunch to lunch, so some of the menu options were unavailable to me, including their more well-known burger. Also really liked the interior design – retro-futuristic with a lot of fun stickers & posters (Ugly Dog Contest!). Quiet & relaxed at the time I went, plus restroom was very clean. Would definitely like to retry at another time!

Got the grilled cheese and “cup” of soup which is more appropriately called 4 tablespoons of soup. It isn’t even enough to cover dunking the sandwich in – it was literally 4 bites of soup. Major disappointment. Won’t be going back there for lunch, ever.

First time visit and found it to be a good experience. I was on the hunt for an expresso based coffee and ended up having breakfast too. The bacon taco wasn’t bursting with flavour but tasted good all the same.
Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Couldn’t ask for anything else.

I just moved to Austin and was looking for a breakfast spot with outdoor seating. Jo’s Coffee has great coffee, delicious breakfast options, and very reasonable prices for Downtown Austin. Definitely coming back!

I had no idea this coffee shop served full-sized plates! They have a menu from breakfast to lunch. I was really impressed with the Migas Plate. The eggs were perfectly cooked, not dry, and they came with tortillas and great beans. There’s also a lot of space inside, even though it doesn’t look like it from the curb. I highly recommend checking it out for more than just a cup of coffee!

The food was so good, and the price and location so convenient in relationship to the convention center, that I ate here three times during my time at SXSW Edu! Got the migas plate twice, and the southwest salad once. All were generous portions – the potatoes were particularly good. Also enjoyed their signature coffee. The interior is a basic diner, and the exterior tables could use cleaning more often, but I loved being able to eat on the patio.

Stopped here randomly for breakfast while I was visiting Austin and it was SO good. Their iced coffee was great and I got their egg white & feta wrap special which was also very good. Nice outdoor patio and a cool interior also. Quick and nice people working here. 10/10.
