The staff was super friendly and made me feel welcome right away. The food is always fresh and the taste stays consistent every time. The chicken stir fry has become my favorite dish, always full of flavor. Overall, a solid five-star experience.

I ordered a large Reuben with extra Russian dressing on the side and fries, which came out to about $25. The sandwich was a solid 7/10, the meat was flavorful, the bread nicely toasted, and everything tasted fresh. I’m not sure what the difference is between the small and large sizes.
If they had and used Thousand Island instead of Russian dressing, I think it would’ve been an easy 8/10. The fries were a miss for me, but the pickle was great. The deli itself is very clean, the staff is friendly, and my order was ready in just 10 minutes. Overall, a satisfying experience. I’d definitely come back and try something else.

I have never received buffalo cauliflower bites that looked like this. They are burnt and taste burnt. What I don’t understand is someone saw these, saw they were burnt and thought,”yep, I’m gonna serve these to a customer!”

A big place just up Lahser from 8 Mile in an office complex. Open, airy, lots of big windows.
Booth seating along the walls with 2 seater low-tops between the booths & counter.
Four different boards to decide from: wraps, burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads and sides. A veritable plethora of choices.
There are 3 kiosks to place your order, probably used mostly when they’re super busy or you know exactly what you want. I didn’t, so I stood back and scanned until I decided.
Normally, when I hit a deli I’m thinking sandwich: a Rueben, a BLT, maybe Pastrami. But today, after seeing how many things besides sandwiches they had on offer, and that it’s only 20° F outside, I decided on a burger.
Specifically, the Mushroom & Swiss burger with a side of pasta salad.
What I got was a Bacon Swiss burger. I almost ordered that so I chalked it up karma and said nothing.
The burger was very good. Red onion, real lettuce (not that “crunchy water” iceberg crap), tomato.
Pasta salad was good, too. Well flavored and not overly oily. Went well with the pickle spear.
Music was a bit too loud, distracting at times. I do like that it was a local station.
There was a $1 service charge. Not sure what that is about. At least it wasn’t taxed.

I called this morning and spoke to one of the owners Belinda or Linda she informed me that she would not refund my money due to the bad review. I wouldn’t have given the restaurant a bad review had it not been for the terrible service I’ve received more than once. The only time the service and food was good was the first time. Ever since then the service has been terrible and the corned beef even worse!!! I see why the restaurant is like it is. The owner has a very nasty attitude. This restaurant is pathetic. I ordered a corned beef and asked for my onion roll to be grilled because it was not the previous three times. They burnt the bun and told me a manager wouldn’t be in until tomorrow so I could get my money back. I only went today because they sent me a $5 off coupon. It wasn’t worth.5 cents. I ordered the corned beef sandwich last week and it was so good. I felt like I could eat them daily. The onion roll was grilled really nice and the sandwich was very good. Today I ordered the exact same sandwich and the bread just seemed like it was taken out of a bag and the meat and cheese was put on it. Very dry and definitely not something I would want again. Very disappointed.

My mom and I was originally going to go to J Alexander but were short on time. So I asked her if we can try a new place that I knew was quick and close by. Got there a little after mid lunch hour rush. I ordered the Buffalo chicken roll up (wrap) and my lunch companion ordered the Michigan Salad & soup. Everything tasted fresh. Chicken was cold and bland. $28
I plan on returning again and trying out a burger or corn beef sandwich.
