1st visit to Angie’s and the food was amazing, it was like having my best home cooked meal. This was lunch time and the place was packed! We enjoyed the Liver & Onions & Broiled Flounder stuffed with crab meat! Our sides were just as tasty, chilled side salad, delicious onion rings & some of the best seasoned green beans ever!

We were in the area for our daughter’s soccer game and found this hidden gem one Saturday morning. The decor is old timey- very comforting. Reminds me of my great grandma’s cooking too! This particular Saturday we had their breakfast. Eggs were cooked perfectly and everything had a ton of flavor and you could tell it was not so frozen and processed. Just today we stopped in after a tournament and had dinner. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries. The burger is cooked to order and is not frozen. The fries are fresh and hand cut! They were addicting. My boyfriend had the fried shrimp and fries dinner with the cheese and broccoli soup. That was some of the freshest cheese and broccoli soup we have tried. Definitely beats Panera! He said they were a bit over cooked but he also loved the fries. Bathrooms are clean and it really does give the home , family style, diner feel. It is easy to overlook because it is right next to a garage. Large parking lot. We look forward to going back and trying more.

I have always enjoyed dining at Angie’s Restaurant in Chesapeake, Va. The food is consistently excellent and the atmosphere very pleasant , clean and relaxing. I am writing this review because of the excellent service I receive each time I dine at this fine establishment. Erica D.is an outstanding waitress and her customer service skills superior in every way. She is so professional, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the specials and menu. She is so attentive from her initial table greeting , to the end of the meal when the check is presented. She checks on you throughout your dining experience and anticipated everything you will need to make your dining experience memorable and enjoyable. She is truly “OUTSTADING ” in everyway, Thank you Erica D. for all that you do !!! Angie’s Restaurant is so lucky they are to have you on there winning team. A+++++

Fantastic experience during my first visit. No wait time during lunch and the food was delicious. I got the spaghetti at the way with a salad and I left full and satisfied. If you’re looking for good ranch dressing, you need to visit here because it was one of the best in the area! Very hospitable staff and nice dining room, typically what you might expect for a family restaurant. No complaints at all, I will definitely make this a regular restaurant to visit.

For the last few months I’ve been having breakfast at Angie’s most Sunday mornings before going to a class I’ve been taking. It pays to get there early, and by early I’d say before 10am. After that there’s a line to get into the place.
Service is quick and you’ll get your drink order taken when you’re seated. That means bottomless coffee. I’ve always found the staff to be super attentive when it comes to coffee and they’ll often refill my mug as soon as it’s empty.
Angie’s has a fairly basic breakfast menu with various egg combinations you put together yourself. Omelets, Corned Beef Hash, etc. Also they have a Specials board in the foyer as you’re coming in. Always check the board has it has non-menu items on it. It’s a chalk board so when they run out of something, for example: Biscuits and Gravy, they’ll remove it from the board.
They’re a well oiled machine in my experience. They get you in there, get you fed quickly and you’re ready to move onto your day. Portions and prices are in harmony as well.

Go here for lunch whenever my wife and I have a day off together. Always good and fresh food and service is always kind and attentive. Recommend for lunch as this is when we typically come but also recommend for any meal with any size party.

I was disappointed. But continued to browse the menu… and then became double, maybe even triple disappointed. Not much to choose from for a morning meal…

Hey y’all…Don’t let the exterior of this restaurant keep you from going inside. Angie’s is spacious, clean and well decorated. Their menu has a wide variety of choices that includes beef, seafood, chicken, liver and onions, etc. They have something for everyone. I had the crab cakes which were pretty amazing and my hubby had one of their hamburger steaks which he said was very good. The portions are generous and the price was very reasonable. Our server was courteous and we wanted for nothing. I highly recommend Angie’s for families, couples or dining alone.

Only been here twice. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. Both meals were excellent. The flavor is on point, the portions are plentiful, the prices are fair, and the seating is really spacious. Most places cram people together to maximize profits. This place doesn’t do that at all. The wait staff is friendly and the place is kept really clean. This place really checks all the boxes. I didn’t see anything to complain about. I would definitely recommend Angies to a friend for breakfast or lunch.
