I decided to try out Dave’s Deli & Catering it’s located a block away from the East L..A. courthouse and also the Metro Gold line in East L.A… I was very curious about Dave’s Deli my wife and I went to have lunch at Juan’s Rotisserie Pollo it’s next door. They have the menu on the windows showing what of kind of hot and cold sandwich including salads and other items they make in the restaurant.
They everything they made is fresh and made to order and also they high quality meats from Boar’s Head one of my favorite Deli meats. I decided to order the turkey Sandwich with provolone cheese with everything including Persian cucumber. I got my sandwich then I took it home when I arrived I took a bite of my sandwich it took really good I really enjoy the turkey meat was really high quality turkey meat with good flavors and bread was soft and airy with other ingredients like the provolone cheese,lettuce,tomatoes and Persian cucumber were very delicious by the way I order the large it’s big. Next when go again to Dave’s Deli I need to try a different sandwich.

A bit on the pricey side, but great service and delicious food!
It was a delight when I stumbled on Dave’s Deli. I decided to try it out, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of sandwich that I got. It is definitely on par with the other well-known deli shops in town!
I ordered the Italian Hero on a French baguette with all the trimmings. I’m going back to try the Meat Ball or Dave’s Favorite next time!

Nice, that Tomato Soup is exactly what a few of the Top restaurants in the country use. Highly addictive! I rate it a 9 out of 10. I travel a lot and I’m coming back. Everything was great, I just had to tell the tomato soup chasers about this… Hang onto this recipe Dave, very good. Over all this place is a Hidden Secret.

Today was my first time eating at Dave’s Deli. I was getting a drink from coffee bean/tea leaf and saw Dave’s Deli and thought I think I’ll give them a try. Oh my gosh, I’m so glad I did! Dave’s Deli is great. I ordered the Cajun Turkey sandwich and clam chowder. The sandwich was delicious and the clam chowder is just phenomenal. I will definitely be back! YUM!!!!

They don’t say that they put mayonnaise and mustard on everything but they do. They put it on my sandwich even though I didn’t ask for any, waste of my money, time and a waste of food. $15 for that sandwich? I would’ve been better off going across town to Jimmy Johns AND IT WOULD’VE BEEN CHEAPER!! MAKE CLEAR WHAT YOU’RE PUTTING ON YOUR SANDWICHES PLEASE

Food is amazing and service is quick. There is no indoor seating nor a bathroom. And it SUCKS that they are closed on the weekends and close early Monday through Friday (3 pm), but I guess that comes with it all.

I paid a little over $10 for this breakfast burrito. It’s just a little bigger than a frozen burrito. The burrito was salty, maybe from the bacon, and really not good. Well this is one place I’m not going back to.

I just recently had the pleasure of making a pit stop in Dave’s Deli. The creme brule cheese bar was moist and delicious. Pairing it with a caramel iced coffee was a delightful treat to my afternoon. The dining area was a bit boxed in, but comfortable for standing while dining. Thank you to the chef and cashier!
