We went in to celebrate my son’s college graduation, and it turned out to be a great choice. The sushi was excellent—especially the Cowboy roll. It looked so good that the people sitting next to me were literally salivating and ended up ordering one for themselves.
The hibachi was good overall, though the rice was a little heavy on the sauce—almost soup-like. The chef definitely got a bit excited with the flavoring. That said, the cook was a lot of fun and even gave me a generous long shot of sake, which added to the experience.
It’s a small place, but it’s big on taste and fun. The whole family enjoyed it, and the atmosphere made the celebration even better. The next time I’m back in town, I will absolutely visit again.
A true hidden gem of Las Cruces. Bottom line: I highly recommend it—support local businesses!

Great show @ hibachi, little salty for my taste but other than that good. The waitress was very kind and brought us new drinks bc previous were flat. The jalapeño boats were exquisite. We had a good time trying something different.

My partner and I enjoyed coming here for our 10 year anniversary. We wanted to try something new to us in the area. Not sure how we managed to never come because we were so happy with the service and the food. We ordered from the Hibachi menu and enjoyed a little show from our chef who was interactive and made it an even better experience that had us laughing. Our server was kind and attentive. It was a fun experience with excellent food. The only minor issue was that the chairs at the hibachi grill were a little short so it sort of felt like I was a toddler haha but not a huge deal. 10/10 recommend.

By far one of the most beautiful Japanese Steak houses we’ve visited. Fast seating and excellent service. The portions were large. One person in our party ordered Sushi and was surprised to find Tempura/Crunch in one of them as it wasn’t mentioned in the menu. The Sushi was a bit dry but the Tempura plate was a favorite at our table. Recommend

What a gem this place is. The server was very attentive. The food was so yummy. We ordered the fried rice dish combo and seafood delight soup. Seems like the fried rice dish was never ending packed with chicken, beef,shrimp. The soup was awesome. For the price you can’t beat it. Very nice. We’ll be back for sure. The atmosphere was very nice and the AV was cool. Love this place ❤️

Im not a fan of sitting at the hibachi tables, but you can sit at a regular table and order the hibachi that way. I always get the salmon sashimi and a salmon avocado roll. Always really good. Im picky about sushi and this place is the only place I’ll order it and I’ve tried basically every place that offers sushi in LC. Also, the clear broth soup is soo good. I always get some to go for later.

Place was packed for a Friday. We sat at the grill. That was entertaining. First time sitting at a grill.
Positives; good tasty food. Of course served hot. Entertaining with the chef.
Negatives: chef spilled the whole bottle of beer on didn’t get comped for another. They dismissed it as if it never happened. Chef was throwing food at customers in the mouth and was about to quiet Saki in the baby’s mouth that was sitting next to us.
Dirty place, sticky floors in restaurant and bathroom.
Their cleaning supplies was out in the open.
They took for ever to bring our drinks.
Was not impressed with the way they ran their business and entertainment.

We stopped in here for lunch, we read all the great reviews and were excited for our lunch. When we pulled in the building looked run down and it smelled funny when we walked in. We were seated quickly and the server was very pleasant. We ordered the seafood miso soup and Kanu salad appetizer, both excellent. The spicy scallop roll was outstanding, all scallop and no panko, just the way we like it. We had sever other rolls that were good but not quite as good as the scallop roll. Sushi pieces were one order one piece, it’s usually one order two pieces. The salmon, yellowtail and sweet shrimp were all excellent, it could have been a touch less cool but all in all very good. Don’t be put off by the shabby appearance, it’s worth a visit!

Where shall I begin? Immaculate service given by Abraham, he’s very attentive and quick, and our experience would have been one star if not for him (okay that’s a lie but he did make the experience 20 stars) Please give this guy a raise, minimum 5 dollars. I had to assure that he received his 100 dollar bill because the man the myth, the legend, deserved it.
