Taiyaki NYC is such a fun and delicious dessert spot! Their fish‑shaped cones with creamy soft‑serve ice cream are really unique and tasty — the crunchy outside and soft inside make a perfect sweet treat. The flavors are creative and the presentation is super cute (great for photos). The staff were friendly and service was quick even when it was busy. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Expensive, but I love taiyaki icecream so much that sometimes you just gotta accept it on vacation. It was really good—the soft serve was creamy with strong flavor (I got vanilla and matcha with strawberry sauce and wafer) and the taiyaki itself is also very tasty. Sweet red bean flavor without being overpowering. (My friend got the pumpkin spice icecream with sprinkles and red bean fish. It melts quickly because the fish it warm)

They were out of custard fish when we got there a little before 8:00PM. 🙁 The inside of the store also looked a bit dingy but it was night time so maybe that’s why the sitting area was fenced off.

Great place for ice cream and drinks! We love how they made fish shape waffles, they were fresh made traditional red bean. We’ve been to this multiple times and their matcha ice cream has the same flavor every time and totally worth it!

I love this place it was absolutely delicious Matcha….. ice i love the cones. They were shaped like fish. And you had little things. I’m way far sticks
While miniature marshmallows on a stick. This was really good, I was very happy… And one more thing, once you got to the end of the comb, there was chocolate fudge, at the bottom, that was a delightful surprise.I definitely recommend this place. So you should go and find what flavor you like.

Taiyaki cravings? Come here and choose from either just mini red bean ones or a shell with ice cream!

I came here for the late night craving and left satisfied. Service is nice, Place has no seating so eat outside and enjoy the Christmas lights.

Super cute! 10/10

It’s just about decent for the price they sell at. over the years the quality has somewhat gone down, the waffles arent sturdy and crunchy enough. They just get soggy the moment you add icecream. This time, They forgot to add custard to my cone, despite my saying it twice. Focus guys!

Overhyped Overpriced soft serve icecream on a mushy(soft) cone.
Was looking forward to eating this ice cream as it was hyped up by one of my coworkers. There were no lines when we entered, small shop, no seating inside, plenty of public seats outside, menu is limited.

Excellent ice cream and I LOVED the fish cone. It was somehow both crunchy and soft and was filled with custard. Really nice to have ice cream on a hot day and although the line was a bit long, it moved by at a moderate speed. Doesn’t feel overly expensive for ice cream either which I appreciated.

Taiyaki NYC is a dessert place specializing in Japanese Taiyaki, or a fish pastry filled with ice cream and other toppings. I’ve been coming here since it first opened, and the quality has remained consistent even after many years.

The space has no seating, though there is plenty of seating outside. There is also around a 15 person limit within the store, so there may be a longer line outside.

I got the Choco-lit Taiyaki, which has chocolate ice cream, a wafer, and dustings of chocolate on top. Overall pretty tasty, can melt a bit fast during summer months but pretty good size for the price. The Taiyaki does have a bit of cream that goes well with the ice cream. They also offer other options such as smaller Taiyaki filled pastries as well as drinks. The smaller taiyaki are flavorful and pretty tasty as well, with a range of filling options.

Overall a wonderful dessert option in the Seaport area.
