The best strawberry ice cream I’ve ever had! It was so good and tasted like real strawberries! The line was almost around the block but moved really quickly. Only thing is they don’t offer samples 🙁 so you just gotta commit without knowing what it tastes like. Would definitely come again!

This ice cream parlor offers an excellent variety with a fantastic selection of flavors. Their vanilla is a standout and easily my favorite. It’s a must-visit for any ice cream lover!

A terrific ice cream spot in downtown Princeton. There were a number of fun flavors to choose from, and I got a scoop of the chocolate chocolate chip and a fancy Parisan hot chocolate to wash it down. Both were wonderful. The decor is a clear throwback to its older pub days, but it gets marks for the cleanliness you want in an ice cream shop. The staff was young but super nice. It was a great finish to the super spicy Chinese food I has for lunch. Worth stopping by.

Lovely place. A colleague who lives nearby recommended it during lunch. No waiting at about 1:45pm on Friday. Lots of interesting new flavors I haven’t seen before, but I opted for the basic flavors first and will try some different ones when I return next time.
I purchased a pint and ate it all on my walk back to my car!!

Lots of really good flavors. They are willing to do two half scoops to make it a scoop. That’s a really flexible way to try two different flavors. I tried rum raisin and cashew caramel. Rum raisin is a flavor that’s not commonly available and this place had it. Cashew flavor was a new flavor and the combination made it unique. All other flavors were also nice. There is no real place to sit inside so it’s more of pick and go style. They open at noon on Sunday and lines quickly build up.

Good ice cream in a very convenient spot. The cow decorations on the wall were very fun and the ice cream was soft and delicious. The scoops were very generous and not too expensive.

It is a sweet, dusky, vintage-y place to go to. Pretty decorations! I really liked the seats in the back. I usually do not go for chocolate flavored ice cream but that’s all they had!! Did not disappoint! I got the chocolate-cherries & vanilla almond choco !! It was delicious.! Must try

We went to Halo Pub as we were told by our friends to try this most recommended ice cream shop in Princeton. It was a Saturday night and about a 40min wait in line and we endured it because we wanted to try the best ice cream in town.
So as we got in the shop, all excited with wide open eyes and wanted to try their flavors, we were told that they don’t allow anyone to try any of their flavors….company policy!! That was a bummer! And not to shame them but quite honestly this was probably the first ice cream shop that I have been to in my life which did not allow tasting flavors.
So I went with my time tested pistachio ice cream and it turned out to be just average. I don’t think it was made as ground up pistachio ice cream. It tasted like they put pistachios in a very creamy vanilla ice cream.
Other than that…there is a limited sit in area inside the shop which me and my folks used. But be aware that there may be other people waiting on you to vacate that seat. So when you finish your ice cream, get up and leave

Must stop by if you’re in downtown Princeton! They have a lot of flavors but they’ve gotten more expensive over the years. Definitely much less line than The Bent Spoon a few feet away.
Parking is difficult since it is downtown. Street parking and parking lots available to pay via Park Mobile

The indoor atmosphere truly made the experience whole, on top of the ice cream! We only ordered a scoop each but their selection was incredible! I had their toffee coffee flavor and it was extremely flavorful and hit the spot. I’ve had other scoops from there in the past and they have all been great. Check this place out if you’re near Princeton!
