Vermont has one remaining unpaved Main Street. Find it and you will find the Pond Village Pub. At the cross roads to Brookfield’s famous floating bridge is an absolute gem of an authentic pub experience. This bar/restaurant is ready for an evening out or just a night cap with a very well thought out selection of draft beers and a fantastic selection of quality reds and whites. We tried many things from the food menu as well and were amazed at the quality and freshness of everything we ate. This establishment is newly renovated with lots of Old World charm, right down to the fireplace. For those that love an actual pub experience this stop is a must! If you are travelling north or south on I-89 be sure to take Exit 4 and drive along one of Vermont’s most scenic ridge following roads for about 15 minutes to this absolute “find”. Mark it on Google Maps as a favorite because you will want to keep coming back. Cheers!

Such an amazing experience we’re already dreaming of our next visit to try more on the menu. This is just the place this area has been in need of. The atmosphere was quaint, warm, and inviting. Well curated seasonal cocktails, house made bread and maple butter, fall off the bone pork chops, and a lovely Caesar salad are just some of the delicious options they have. So glad a place like this has opened in this area. Can’t wait to visit again!

Today was our second time here and we have had the Mac and Cheese and the Chicken Pot Pie and the Apple Pie. The food was warm and cozy, just like the atmosphere. The service was excellent and the owners are friendly and welcoming. It’s an intimate setting that feels comfortable and homey in all of the best ways. Would recommend for a tasty dinner or a quaint New England experience for a visitor.

Absolutely a gem of a place. The owners have done an incredible job refurbishing the inn, creating an amazing, cozy, down home atmosphere. As a local, I almost don’t want to advertise this spot because it is so great! The new owners spared no detail, creating a cozy pub with a wonderful top shelf bar and amazing menu.

Such a cute place in an area that has needed a nice restaurant for a while. Food was delicious and straightforward, and atmosphere felt like we had time traveled to an old village pub on a snowy night (especially tearing up fresh baked bread with our hands). Very romantic
