The pictures make it seem better than what this places is. The shakes were good. My portobello mushroom burger was burnt with my burger cut in half to put the cheese in between it and my fries were still frozen. Really!? My server was awesome and sweet, but the cook in the back was terrible! Won’t go back ever to a Steak ‘n Shake.

Not a good night for us… Got there a 12:40am and was told that they no longer server after 12:30. 45 min drive for nothing. Off to eat-n-park…new time this time there at 8:30 and this time told could not set at tables they had closed them… this place is going down HILL!!!!

Not only did we wait at the “please wait to be seated sign” over ten minutes for any one to acknowledge us… When we did get seated the waitress walked away. Then came back about 3 minutes later to take our drink orders and while also informing us that our food order would run about 30 minutes or longer. The restaurant was not extremely busy nor was the drive through lane extremely long??? Maybe they were short staffed. My main annoyance was waiting at the front the extra ten minutes … If someone could have told us right as we walked in, we probably would have stayed and ordered there. Instead we went to McDonald’s since we were starving by that time. I most likely will not go back to that steak and shake location … Seems there are always problems there. I’d rather make the trip to the Robinson store. I will say that the waitress did have a smile as she told us about the food time frame issue and she did seem genuinely sorry to turn us away.

This location has started to go downhill in my opinion. Visits used to be quick and easy, but the service has been pretty slow my last few visits. And it doesn’t seem to be as clean as it used to. Make sure to order milkshakes early if you want them, because they take a while to come for some reason. We usually order them when they bring the food, and we’re done eating when they they bring them

This is the absolute WORST fast food place in pleasant hills. They should not even have a drive through because except at the minimum to spend 15-20 minutes for your food. There was one time we seriously waited 47 minutes for our food. They do not care either. They are never apologetic and act like you are bothering them. If I was not pregnant and craving their milkshakes we would never support this business. When you sit down the service is a better sometimes. We have Taylor as a waitress once and she was so great and accommodating. The other two times we have people who did not know what they were doing and were so slow and we never got refills on our drinks when the meals finally came. Honestly just stay away unless you cannot help your craving for their ultimate banana milkshake like me !

They’ve really gotten better. I moved here about 5 years ago, tried this location out, and they were terrible. Rude employees and such. I stopped by here two nights ago to pick up a food delivery order, and the employees that were working were really nice. They made the food when I got there, meaning it was fresh and hadn’t been sitting while I drove there to pick up the order. Then last night, I stopped by to pick up another order. The workers were a different set of employees, but they again made the order fresh.
Late night they seem to not be that busy. It could be because they haven’t been 24 hours for that long. I was told they changed to 24 hours a couple months ago.

Not a very good experience.
1. I had to wait at least 10 minutes before an employee came to me.
2. The iced tea was warm.
3. The chili was warm.
4. The hamburger was warm.
5. The fries were cold.
There was absolutely no reason for ANY of those things to happen because the place was only have full! They either have a bad crew or a bad manager. Or, BOTH.

There was food all over the floor, a milk shake was spoiled on the floor where everyone was walking. I brought it to 3 employees attention and instead of cleaning it up real quick they just put a wet floor sign over it. It took 34 minutes for us to actually get our food and they didn’t give us some of our stuff. I ordered a milk shake only to get it after we paid and was leaving. I’m HIGHLY disappointed with the store and the wait time to get the food. Our waitress was so sweet and kind. She apologized for everything.

We waited twice as long as we should of to be seated. The place was barely busy… then sat us in a booth that had salt and crumbs all over the seats… waited TEN minutes before someone even came to our table to get our drink order. I ordered two milkshakes. One for me and one for my daughter. They never came out until I said something about them. The waitress walked past our table a dozen times and just looked at us with NO DRINKS ON OUR TABLE you think you’d ask if you need something. Food took forever and the waitresses we’re in their own little world.
