While the wings were much larger than Tonys, for sure.. the sauce had an almost marinara after taste…which was weird, not in a good way…
The pizza was soo disgusting that I did something Ive never done in my 38 years on this planet, I threw a slice out without even biting it. It was that unappealing.
It felt extremely heavy, ya know? Like it was slogged in grease..soo I tried just patting down to get grease off a little..still heavy. The dough was literally soakedddd through, in grease…or water.
Something they did was very wrong (feel like maybe the dough wasnt cooked fully…or wrong cheese?) Anyways, ill probably try again, but if the pizza comes like that again, wont continue.
As I had trouble explaining what made the pizza unappetizing I attached photos of my piece I dissected.

Im not an Italian expert, but that was a fantastic meal. The focaccia bread, beef barley soup, and clam/shrimp spicy marinara hit the spot so well Service was awesome, brought extra bread upon request.

This is a great place to eat that is not overly priced, with a down home and friendly atmosphere. It is family owned and operated for over 50 years. Not to mention their sunday sauce is made from scratch.. if you like good italian food, this is the place for you!!

Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures of my food! I wasn’t thinking about it because it was too good! I got the calamari, side of 2 (giant homemade meatballs) then a pasta carbonara with a dinner salad and homemade Italian dressing.

This place had an amazing menu off the jump. They had saltimbocca, they had veal, they have pizza pasta and really a LOT of seafood choices which I loved! They also had arancini and a few other staples that no one seems to have.

Jackie was my server and she was simply outstanding! She’s 50% of the reason I wanna go back!

I’m a truck driver and it’s really hard to get home cooked meals on the road and everything I ordered was SO GOOD.

I took my side of meatballs and pasta to go. When I ate my carbonara today oh my LORDDD it was so good! Something about the fettuccini noodles was next level. They were cooked perfectly but they weren’t starchy or swollen/fat. They were very yellow and slippery and very flat thin. Al dente! I was in carb heaven. HUGE portions too!!

Stupendous and I’m sad I prb won’t be back there bc I’m never ever on 380 but if you’re a truck driver and you’re wondering about stopping at the ONVO you should not hesitate and make sure you leave a good tip!

Thanks again Jackie <3

Every single time we dine here, whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner, it is thoroughly enjoyable. Easily. The best Italian food in the area, maybe the state. The Sunday breakfast buffet is amazing and well worth the visit. My favorite is the traditional chicken parmesan!

Great place for a trucker to sit down and feel welcome. A lot of food on the Sunday brunch for only 20 bucks and it includes your drink. The Stromboli was a taste of the past.. everyone was great and this place is on my list to come back to again. Thank y’all for the great experience

It’s an old-time, old-school pizzeria/restaurant. The food is really good, the staff is very nice, and the atmosphere is a quiet, pleasant one. Can it use a little updating, yes, however, or might take away from that Pennsylvania charm. Overall, had a really nice time with the family before going home.

I’ve passed this pizzeria various times when heading to Wallenpaupk estates but never stopped. As we were leaving we went inside to get a bite to eat. We had 2 speciality slices and a soup. Everything was delicious. We had a glass a wine also. There seems to be gambling here also. Slot machines. The restaurant had vintage decor an ample.
