This Pollo Campero is one of the best! The chicken is always extra crispy with a perfectly seasoned, golden crust that stays crunchy even after you get it home. The fries are absolutely the best—hot, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside with just the right amount of salt.

The food was really good. I ordered online & when I got there. There was already a line wrapped around the building and a busy lobby. I was still in & out within 5 minutes. My sandwich was missing the top bun. But that’s not an issue it happens. They were super busy. Everyone was super friendly and the place was clean!

The spicy chicken sandwich was good, but not as good as Popeyes or Chick-fil-a… the yucca was not impressive, seem strait out of a frozen bag. Chicken nuggets seemed over cooked, over cooked and hard. The beans were good, flavorful. The Signature dipping sauce was not flavorful, bland. Honestly Chicken Fiesta does it better… Service at atmosphere were great!

Ordered a mixed 4 piece from here and it was delicious. The fried chicken tasted like homemade, as did the beans and rice. The yucca fries had the perfect texture and I loved the dipping sauce. The grilled chicken was also tender and very good. Will order again.

I placed a catering order for a 30-piece meal with sides and mistakenly selected roasted chicken instead of fried — completely my error. Despite the rush, the staff went above and beyond to help accommodate a correction without hesitation.
Siomara, the crew leader, stepped in and handled the situation quickly and kindly. The manager also greeted me and made sure everything was taken care of. Lucas, the cashier, even offered to help carry the large catering order out to my car, which showed an extra level of care and teamwork that did not go unnoticed.
The warmth, kindness, and hospitality reminded me of the welcoming spirit of Latin American culture. The food and service truly reflect a customer-first environment, and the experience brought back memories of my childhood in El Salvador, which made the visit even more meaningful.
I’m very happy to have a Pollo Campero in RVA and will continue returning for years to come.

The chicken is definitely something different. The flavor is there. Great profile, if you want something nice and roasted. Or if you want something fried, but you all means definitely some authentic Mexican chicken. With a slap of flavor if you’re nearby, come spend some money, you won’t regret it

ordered the 4 pc meal does not include drink and paid $20 in total. Chicken was awesome like always crispy juicy and with flavor. Fries not good. Skinny stale and tasteless. Coleslaw had a weird aftertaste. Recommendations just get the chicken.

The first time you we went there was so many upper management in the building it was hard to walk through to get a table. The trash can was under the horchata drink dispensers. The chicken was good. The second time we went they didn’t have enough chicken and what they did have was broken chicken wings they tried to pass off as a leg. And way over seasoned. The fries tasted old.
