We visited this place with high expectations, and overall, it was a very positive experience, though with some nuances.
The Food:
I would describe the food as good, but not quite excellent. The dishes were tasty, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh, but they were perhaps missing that “special touch” or a more polished execution to be truly memorable. It’s a solid choice for a nice dinner, but the menu doesn’t quite dazzle yet.
The Service (The highlight of the night):
What truly elevated our visit was the service. Julian, the young man who took care of us, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive.
It’s rare to find someone who can read a table so well; he was on top of every detail without being intrusive, gave us honest recommendations, and maintained great energy throughout the entire night.
Conclusion:
While the kitchen has some room to grow to reach excellence, the human factor made all the difference. People like Julian are the reason you want to return to a place. Based on his service alone, the experience was absolutely worth it.

We were the 1st ones through the door on this specific day. Service was slow as the staff were coming in and getting settled into their routine however, our food made up for it! It was absolutely delicious! A Cuban flare greets you with a warm ambiance. We had a lovely anniversary dinner. The Halloween decorations were creative and fun. A small note for the hostess — please double-check reservation details. I requested live music, but we were first offered a table on the 1st floor while the music was upstairs.
The Greek salad was fresh and big enough to share. My lamb chops looked great, though the veggies and mashed potatoes were warm, not hot, and no mushrooms like in the photos. My husband’s fajitas were amazing, and the shrimp on the side were perfect.
We loved the complimentary champagne for our anniversary. It was a nice touch! Our waitress Diana was wonderful, attentive, knowledgeable, and took great pictures for us. Tony, the manager, also checked in to be sure we were happy. The live music added a romantic touch. I was hoping for “Hotel California,” but we left a bit early. Overall, a very nice evening!

It was the perfect spot for our friend’s 40th birthday dinner. The food was delicious! Unique decor, great ambiance, and 2nd story patio. The waiter was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Our party of 6 had a great experience. The food and drink menu had a good variety of options! We tried a Halloween drink.

I clearly informed the staff that I have a life-threatening shellfish allergy, and I explained it more than once. Because of this, I ordered the vegetable carbonara, which is listed as a vegan dish, to avoid any risk.
When the dish arrived, there was a piece of calamari on my plate.
This is extremely concerning. A vegan dish should never contain shellfish, and for someone with a severe allergy, this could have resulted in a serious medical emergency. While mistakes happen, this indicates a lack of proper allergy awareness and kitchen controls.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone with food allergies.

Deliciously delicious! Stepped into this gem while we were strolling along Bardstown Rd. And we are so glad we did! The atmosphere is modern, sleek, the drinks and food served & plates are Instagram worthy (if you are into that!) Rafael took care of us and made us feel welcomed from the get go! We loved our experience and taste of food we have made plans to go & grab dessert tomorrow!
