I tried finding an upscale Mexican restaurants, which was creative, artistic, and has a blend of authentic Mexican , Tex-Mex and get a little rowdy in creating your own recipes. You always end up at the places where you see similar kind of menu, but luckily, I found this place which was out of box found the menu to be super curated with the location and chef.
You enter this place and find an amazing interiors with a beautiful bar and a very respectable staff. There is definitely reservations. Recommended because display gets super crowded as in how the food speaks for itself.
It’s located in the very prime and nice Neighbourhood, which definitely makes it very busy. We ordered a bunch of stuff and then everything tasted awesome. I’m sure the pictures speak for itself. I want you guys to go try this place with some patience and time in hand to try different food options.
If you go during the lunchtime, there are lunch specials, which are really affordable price.

This was my first time at Mi Dia From Scratch, and it was a lovely experience. I sat at the bar and ordered the Mexican Cobb salad with steak and blue cheese dressing — it was very tasty. The salad included pumpkin seeds, which was an interesting choice, but one I ended up liking a lot. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I would definitely recommend it and will be coming back again.

Excellent service amazing food love the chips and salsa. I always enjoy the tableside guacamole, but since it was the two of us, we decided not to do it. Good size portions. I have a steak with an enchilada on top. I can’t remember what it’s called.. my husband had some seasonal special all sorts of seafood and spices.
Joe was our server and took excellent care of us !!!!

I have eaten at this restaurant numerous times and my food is always amazing. A group of 6 of us went on a Friday night which we thought the place would be packed as usual. But we didnt have to wait at all to get in which was abnormal for this place. We thought it was just our night until we were seated. It took alot of time to even get our drink order and the waiter just kept making excuses for his slow service. It took over an hour to get out food and the place was not very busy. We then get our check and the waiter added gratuities to our bill which has never happened for a party of 6 at any restaurant. He knew his service was subpar so he wanted to guarantee himself a tip. Since it was not busy on a Friday night it appears more people are getting tired of this kind of service. That is ashame cause the food is amazing. We will be driving the extra few miles to the Grapevine location if we go again at all.

Mi Día is a very beautiful restaurant. The lighting and atmosphere are one of a kind. I have been countless of times and no matter if I go in the AM or PM I know EXACTLY what to expect: EXCELLENT SERVICE & GREAT FOOD. The restaurant is clean and easy to find. Their bar is well stocked and has some of the most beautiful drinks that also taste good.
This last visit we ordered a chimichanga and a chile relleno. We recommend both and my husband swears this is THE BEST chimichanga.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Mi Dia Flower Mound. My server Daniel was attentive and gave great recommendations. I had the Tequila Pesto Enchiladas and they were delicious! I also had a Platinum Pure margarita and enjoyed it! The entire team was pleasant, and I definitely plan to make this a go-to spot!

We really loved this place. The food was excellent! I especially liked the duck tacos, they were amazing. The special made guacamole is huge!! We loved the patio area the best. It had fans everywhere for cooling and the atmosphere inside and outside had a good vibe. Often, we’d just go there for a few drinks and sit at the bar. The only down side is this place is always crowded. But if you can wait, it’s worth it.
