We are up for the 4th of July weekend visiting family and they brought us here for dinner. The food and the service are outstanding. I got deep fried bacon on a sampler platter and it was out of this world and for dinner I got the deep fried burger and it was fantastic. I can’t say enough about how good this place is and we will definitely come again when we come for a visit.

This restaurant is right next to the lake, so great views, indoor and outdoor dining available. Decent menu, prices are reasonable. Drinks are delicious. Food was good. Lots of different options and a lot of different spins on traditional food. Don’t be afraid to try something new, you might just love it. Friendly staff. Definitely gets busy in there. We will definitely go back again.

Absolutely love this little place in Cedar Lake. We hadn’t been here for years after we moved away and were so excited to see it still here when we came back years later. The food is so good, I had a deep fried burger on a pretzel bun that was absolutely delicious. The sampler platter of deep fried goods was amazing, my favorite is the deep fried bacon, but all of it was fantastic. Top notch place and the staff was very friendly and fast. Highly recommend trying this place if you haven’t already.

You would never believe that this place is so amazing! Outside it looks like regular neighborhood dinner, same inside. But what really makes this place wonderful is the people that work here and delicious food. Also prices are decent, nothing overwhelming. If I lived closer this would be my place to eat on regular basics, we had amazing server very knowledgeable about the food that was on the menu. Thanks for the great experience.

First time trying The Sandbar, I’ve had family and friends tell how they love this place, it didn’t disappoint. We had the buffalo shrimp and buffalo chicken wings both were great starters. I had the Jalapeno mushroom burger and fries. Very good thick patty kinda reminded me of a meatloaf sandwich in a good way, fries were nice and crispy, along with a couple cold drafts and a great view of the lake. We’ll definitely be back, can’t wait.

Stopped for lunch and a few beers. Cute place on the water. Food was good but the bartender was very unpleasant on her phone for a personal call, bad day? The ladies room had standing water on the floor, at least it looked like clean water! All in all was still fun
