My family and I were spending the day in Baltimore, from out of town. And I booked a reservation at this place based on their views. I was very very happy we chose this place, we came on a weekend around lunchtime. I was so happy that the menu offered a variety of dishes. We got lots of different dishes, and some items to share. And everything was delicious. The service was excellent! I also really liked the warm and friendly ambiance. There are a lot of restaurants in the Baltimore downtown area, and I would highly recommend this one.

Visited Baltimore for the weekend and decided to try Blackwall Hitch. The decor and overall atmosphere are absolutely lovely — elegant, stylish, and inviting without feeling stuffy.
We ordered the mimosa bucket, which runs about $50 and is actually a great deal for the amount of champagne included. Definitely worth it if you’re brunching with friends.
To start, we had half a dozen oysters, which were fresh and flavorful — I’d give them a solid 8/10. For my entrée, I had the crab cake eggs benedict, which was good overall. I just wish the eggs had been a bit more poached and runny, as they were slightly overcooked, but the flavor was still there — 7/10.
My friend ordered the Baltimore breakfast skillet, which was hearty and filling — lots of food, and everything tasted fresh. The only thing that fell a little short were the grits; they were a bit grainy and underwhelming. However, the sausages were great and well-seasoned.
Service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and quick. The staff made sure we had everything we needed, and I also have to mention that the bathrooms were spotless, which is always appreciated.
Overall, a great experience with good food, great service, and a beautiful setting. I’d definitely go back next time I’m in Baltimore.

Just off from the Inner Harbor is this restaurant and bar with great food and service. I had one of their signature cocktails which was very tasty. The fried green tomatoes were not overly breaded and had a crisp outside and not greasy. There was a little bit of heat in the spices. Next, I had blackened Rockfish with crab meat. The filet was perfectly done with a crispy skin and moist, flakey with good portion sizes. The broccolini was perfectly grilled being both tender and sweet. Finally, the Sicilian Lemon Cake was delicious and moist. All of that with prompt service and attention although admittedly it was a slower early work week night. The decor was quaint and a darker lighting which worked. The bar looked warm and welcoming. Overall, the prices were reasonable for a downtown restaurant and did seem to be good value. I will definitely return on my next trip.

Visiting Baltimore for a quick get away, we made plans to brunch in the Harbor. While making our way to our destination, my Auntie noticed a brunch sign that looked intriguing but WE had never heard of this place. Simultaneously, a gentleman walked out of a side door who happened to work there. We chatted him up and we were happily convinced to give them a try. I am glad we did! Thanks Jamar.
As soon as we walked in, we felt relieved. The atmosphere was light and inviting, the other guests all seemed in good spirits, and the restaurant had an elevated look. The hostess was great. She asked about our seating preferences AND she knew we were coming. That Jamar was quick! Once seated we were greeted by Jamar. He actually dug his heels in and discovered our likes, dislikes, and even our allergies. He said he would bring us an appetizer that we could appreciate based on his personal detective work. He quickly disappeared.
Soon after our concierge server Terry arrived. We now call him Mr. T . This man is personable, quick witted, and a wealth of knowledge. He was just as as attentive as his manager. He assisted with our menu selections as well as our drink orders; making sure that we were completely satisfied with our selections ( we questioned ourselves multiple times during this process) while remaining complete patient, courteous, and very entertaining.
During this time our surprise appetizers arrived and Jamar DID NOT MISS!! The crab dip topped with lump crab meat satisfied all the sea-foodies living inside of me. And those little billowy warm puffy naans!!! My cousin was introduced to the Ahi Tuna Tartare and they hit if off famously. Instant chemistry! During this time we were constantly checked on ( but not to the point of annoyance, y’all know how I hate that) and we placed our brunch order. My Auntie ordered the B-More Crab Benedict without the egg ( that’s a whole ‘nother story) and my Cousin and I odered the brunch co-star to our Traditional Mimosas, those Chicken and Waffles. Ooooh hot honey!!
Look,to sum it all up, the people were great, the food was great -all of it- hot and fresh, and the vibe was great. A lovely spot for a good first impression and a modest budget. My one complaint: my syrup could’ve been sweeter. This spot is great for all kinds of link ups: work and colleague meetings, family lunches and dinners, first date interviews, let’s catch up brunches and date night shenanigans. I will be back and hopefully see you there.

Great staff! Lachelle (and the other servers whose name has slipped my mind but starts with a K) were amazing! We were a big group and they were on it! Tre was a phenomenal host and we had them both two days ironically. 10/10 def recommend and those three elevated our experience. Kudos to Paul (district manager) and Chris (evening manager) for accommodating our large party especially on short notice.

Blackwall Hitch sits at the coner of Pratt Street and Market Place Street. There is paid street parking or garage paid parking. The place has and its own unique look. The table setting is good. However the drinks horrible I got their white sangria. Look at my pictures below… we ordered crab dip something about the dip was very loose but the soft dough was great. Moreover the portion sizes were excellent each entrée portions were big. Three star because crab dip, sangria and food could have tasted better. But I will try again to see if my experience changes.

Excellent food and service. We did brunch on a Saturday morning. We all had a drink. The Bloody Mary was a little spicy, which I liked. Chocolate Peanut Butter martini was like a dessert. Crab cakes and breakfast sandwiches hit the spot. Would go back. Glad I talked the group out of going to The Hard Rock.

After looking forward to eating at this restaurant for a while, it turned out to disappoint at every turn. We sat at the bar where there bartender seemed like she was miserable being at her job and had her belongs sprawled out across the bar. While the rest of the staff stood in a corner openly playing on their cell phones. Our drinks had no coasters or napkins (I had to get my own) under them and served in dirty glassware. We ordered the shrimp and grits and what was said to be chorizo was quite clearly ground beef. Zero spice, zero attempt to mask the fact they’re using ground beef. My husband was served risotto that tasted awful. When we tried to pay our bill using a gift card, the manager refused to honor it. We had called the night before and spoke to a host to get the balance and after being told we needed to call a partnered restaurant to do so, he assured us we could use the card at their location. The manager flat out told us we should’ve asked to speak to a manager instead of a host for a very simple request. Instead of trying to fix any type of mistake his staff made, he shrugged his arms in a “oh well” fashion and walked off. If you are looking to have a mediocre dinner accompanied with awful customer service, this is the place for you.

We had a private dinner for my sister’s birthday party last night and the staff were just amazing! Paul was super helpful and kind over the phone with getting everything planned. The birthday girl was late but the staff accommodated us and gave us extra time! From the manager to the waiters to the bartenders to the hostess everyone went above and beyond and made it a very special night! Even when we sent food back they were understanding and helped us find something else on the menu. Just want to send a huge thank you to entire staff last night!
