Truly the best seafood experience I’ve had in Boston so far. Would highly recommend the Egyptian seafood section of the menu. Started out with a seafood soup, and had the juiciest most flavorful grilled shrimp out there. Don’t miss the “singary” grilled fish. Phenomenal hospitality by the owner too. Would definitely go again.

I ordered from this place for the first time and last time. I ordered the lobster soup which was very good tasting but not warm. I ordered the lobster rolls and seasoning was missing. The wings could have flown away with the feathers still on the wings. I guess someone needs to show them how to clean chicken

I’ve frequently this establishment for many years. The lobster boat is my typical go to but this time I was with friends and one suggested that we try the lobster pizza. It needed no convincing since the restaurant proudly displays advertisements about this unique menu selection (photos attached).
Well, it was served. It was edible but that’s it. Pizza dough, cheese and minuscule lobster bites for
29.99. This pizza was significantly overcooked lacked taste, sauce and all the toppings included in the many images that are hung outside and inside. Disappointed is an understatement.

What a cool seafood spot right off the water in Quincy. We found this location watching a YouTube video about lobster rolls by a local and decided we’d stop while visiting Boston.
So glad we did the staff were super friendly and the food was fantastic. They also gave me an Egyptian style pita to try when I asked what it was that they were baking.
Thanks wish we lived closer so we could frequent them more often.

We ordered a bowl of clam chowder, but it came in a paper cup with a rather small portion. The lobster roll tasted about the same as what you can get from the supermarket, so it didn’t leave much of an impression. The seafood soup was also on the small side, with a flavor that was okay.

Fresh lobster and I saw them replenishing the tanks when I was there. The lobster roll was ok but the lobster was overcooked and slightly tough. The clam chowder was plentiful with clams and potato. I’ll be back to try more of the menu.

Great little spot and reasonable prices. Was driving thru wanted a lobster roll and stop by here after seeing some positive reviews. Overall not to bad lobster roll got the 2 rolls one buttered warm and one cold. The warm was better. Also got clam chowder which was excellent. A little language barrier with the person taking your order and getting the wrong food but they fixed it and everything was good. Small place inside so if eating in just remember that. They where steady and the place had just emptied when we got there

Lobster Stop offers decent seafood, and the dishes are generally fresh. However, the overall experience is somewhat affected by the owner, who is Egyptian. Unfortunately, he is often impolite and behaves poorly toward both the staff and customers. This creates a tense atmosphere that takes away from the enjoyment of the meal. The service can sometimes feel cold because of this. In summary, the food is acceptable, but the management really leaves much to be desired.

This is one of the absolute best local seafood restaurants, and one I never miss on my trips home! They have, hands-down, the best lobster rolls (overflowing with fresh steamed lobster, drawn butter, and perfectly toasted rolls), fried clams, fried shrimp, real NE clam chowder, and real lobster bisque (plus lots of healthy grilled and specialty plates/platters ). All are made fresh on site. The owners are lovely. I hate to write this review because parking can be a bit of challenge during peak times (they are off the rotary at the Fore River Bridge), but I’m willing to risk my spot.
