We had just landed and we’re on our way to Virginia Beach and needed some breakfast/lunch. This seemed to have good reviews and the location was perfect for us. Their service was average. The food was average. The restaurant had some really cool things about it, but definitely needed a few fixes/updates. I’m not sure I would go there again unless some things have been changed. Can’t necessarily recommend – again, just average. I do think it’s a good location though for tourists.

I had briefly met the owner in passing and was intrigued enough to look up the restaurant—I’m so glad I did! The menu sounded delicious, and it absolutely delivered. I sat outside under canvas shades with a refreshing breeze, which made for a perfect, relaxing atmosphere.
I ordered a cappuccino and my daughter had a latte—both were bold and strong, which is rare to find in the area. Many coffee spots are nice, but the drinks often lack that rich flavor—this place nailed it.
My daughter got the Atlantic Eggs Benedict, which was flavorful and perfectly prepared. I had “The Flop,” which came with two pancakes, two eggs, and sausage. Everything was cooked to perfection, and I have to shout out the eggs—they were done over-medium exactly right (if you know, you know—that’s not easy to get right!). The side of potatoes was equally impressive.
I also love that they offer a to-go beach bag option—perfect for grabbing a few sandwiches and chips if you’re planning a day at the oceanfront.
This spot is definitely going on my list of favorite places to eat, and I highly recommend you check it out!

Just came here for the first time with friends. Everything was GREAT!! All the food was fresh, seasoned great. I got breakfast biscuits was moist and fluffy. My friend got chicken fried to perfection, my friend got a second salad. Owner was friendly and polite. Will be back HIGHLY recommend!!!

I don’t get the complaints about how shoddy the decor/interior is… You can clearly tell what you’re signing up for before you even walk through the door. Hole in the wall restaurant with cheap yet delicious food. Getting to know the owner and his daughter as they yelled to talk to us while preparing our drinks behind the bar genuinely made me feel welcome and almost part of the family. Loved the ambiance with their family photos on the wall and Middle Eastern music. Not many places in VA serve Shakshouka so I had to try it here, perfectly blended spices and over easy eggs made this genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had, definitely best since I came back home. My girl got a fried chicken sandwich which I had to try as well – didn’t blow my mind but I mean it’s a fried chicken sandwich nothing special but no complaints. Will definitely be back next time I’m in VB.

Dined on a Tuesday in late March. Our food was PERFECT. My wife and I both had the, “Build-your-own,” omelet. Both were excellent, and since my wife is watching her carbs, I got both her Hash Browns and her Toast. We found out that the place is family-owned and operated. Our Chef was the owner, and his daughter, Alex, was our server. We were treated like the king and queen of VA Beach. Love this place, and will be back the next time we are at the beach.

Breakfast here this morning was excellent. Everything was fresh and made to order. The owner and his daughter are extremely friendly and accommodating. It definitely has a “local” vibe. It’s not a fancy place, just one with a cheerful host and delicious, well prepared food.
