I had the best chicken I have had in my entire life. Do yourself a favor and order the Pollo Con Mole. The flavors are perfectly balanced and I can’t wait to go back. The fajitas were perfect, best we have found here in New Braunfels. The appetizer selection is great. The booths are a bit small for my personal preference (like really I’m not a skinny girl) and their drink menu could be enhanced by adding more options. The tequila old fashioned had too much Bitters and I would have preferred a standard old fashioned. The service is excellent. Making the entire meal an experience rather than just getting some food somewhere.

I had the pleasure of dining with some girlfriends at this restaurant and was impressed by the experience, which far exceeded my initial expectations. On my first visit, I wasn’t entirely satisfied, but my second visit was truly exceptional. Each dish was served hot and promptly, and our waiter provided outstanding service, attentively meeting the needs of our table of ladies. The combination of great food and excellent service made for a wonderful experience, and I would definitely like to return soon.

Took my wife there for Valentine’s Day as we had heard good things. Honestly not impressed. Although we were seated quickly and our waitress was very attentive and nice, there were quite a few things that dulled our experience. One issue I had was that the music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk across our 2 person table. When I’m out for dinner (which they claim fine dining) I plan to talk to the people I’m with, if I wanted loud music I’d go to a bar. We were brought out chips and salsa which my wife couldn’t eat because it was very spicy and they didn’t have a milder version when I asked. I ordered coffee as I do with most meals and it was very bitter. We were served better coffee in the service. Also, the food was very overpriced for what you get. I ordered the 3 tacos plate which I found odd for $18 that it didn’t come with any sides. I also ordered a side of rice. My wife ordered the cheese enchiladas. The tacos on my plate were very small (more street taco size) with hardly any filling and had an extremely bitter cilantro sauce on them. To top that the rice was cooked with in an overpowering cilantro juice coloring the rice dark green. Found the food to be not very tasteful other than cilantro. I tried some of my wife enchiladas and they were extremely bland. She had ordered them after reading on the menu how they bragged it was homemade. I’ve tasted better enchilada sauce from the can at Walmart. Overall the service was good but won’t be back as the food is not very good. Way overpriced for what you get.

I’ve visited this place a few times, and frankly, it feels overhyped and overpriced. The service, however, is consistently excellent—staff are efficient and friendly. Unfortunately, the menu lacks authentic Mexican flavors; for example, charro beans are made with black beans, which is disappointing. I also wish there were more lighter options, such as grilled shrimp tacos or grilled fish plates, as most dishes seem quite heavy. We ordered a pound of steak and shrimp (grilled), but only received six shrimp and paid $89—definitely not worth it. Also my boyfriend ordered a house salad, just a small plate lettuce and dressing was $12.95! On a positive note, the flan was delicious and generously portioned. I likely won’t return unless I’m dragged by friends or coworkers.

I finally tried La Cosecha Mexican Table, and I’m honestly kicking myself for not coming here sooner. I’ve lived in Texas for five years, and this was my very first visit but it definitely won’t be my last. The reviews raving about their fajitas, especially the Wagyu steak and chicken, were absolutely right.
From the moment I walked in, the vibe immediately reminded me of being in Cancún or Cabo San Lucas relaxed, vibrant, and full of that elevated coastal-Mexican atmosphere. It truly set the tone for an amazing dining experience.
To start, the tortilla chips were hands down the BEST chips/appetizer I’ve ever had. They were unbelievably crispy, fresh, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. For my main course, I went with the Wagyu steak and chicken fajitas, and they were exceptional incredibly flavorful, tender, and downright succulent. Pairing them with two of their house margaritas was a great choice; the drinks had the perfect balance of flavor and alcohol.
My waiter, Hunter W., was soft-spoken, attentive, and genuinely helpful the entire time. His service added even more to an already great experience.
La Cosecha Mexican Table exceeded every expectation, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!

We came in with a large group right before closing. They graciously sat us and served us. We had amazing service. One boy in our party had a birthday and the server brought a candle and dessert. We all sang to him.
Margarita was ok. Pollo enchiladas with cream sauce were good. The fajitas looked great! Kids meals were only $6. Such a bargain. I wasn’t a fan of the rice. Black beans were good. Chips and salsa complimentary. One gal really liked them. I thought the chips were too thick and the salsa too smoky in flavor.

Attempt at higher end…not bad, but could use more…ultimately, decided to support the small business. The chips and salsa were free and also unique. The salsa was served warm and wasn’t as light tasting as some restaurants..but don’t see this as a bad thing, just different. The bar had some drinks that were appealing and the flare on them was appreciated however they didn’t hand a plethora of options to make other versions of drinks, since their specials were limited. The food wasn’t overly priced which is good since it wasn’t the highest end. Admittedly, I didn’t try much off the menu but if I wasn’t supporting a small business, I might try one of the surrounding places that offer typical dinner combo plates.

One of a kind, so good it felt like the cherry on top of an already amazing weekend!
Came in maybe 25 min after they opened for Sunday brunch with a group of 6 and honestly, if I find myself in the area again, I will absolutely come back.
Pretty pretty building, we were a bit taken aback! Looks and feels very upscale, as well as great service–despite it getting busier as our time there progressed.
Price: Yeah, it’s on the pricier side, BUT the quality and presentation in each dish were definitely worth every penny.
Food: Youll get some warm salted chips with a warmed n firey salsa, and boy is it delicious. A friend ordered the brisket queso for the table, split amongst 5 of us present, and we could not get enough of it.
Coffee sadly was not something to write home about but I’m letting it slide because the mimosas were GOOD. Another friend ordered the Mexican Toast–a play on French toast–which was custard and almost flan like!
Now, the star for me personally was the Mexican Eggs Benedict, a soft cornmeal pancake with a bed of brisket, and a fried poached egg….truly a different approach, but so perfectly executed.
You should eat here and treat your tastebuds.
