Nice modern Vietnamese dishes. The barramundi was a thumbs up. We ordered from the table next to us, then we inspired to the next table. Just juicy fish fillet with herbs. Fried noodle migoren was a little disappointed though. Octopus was nice, lobster dumplings were ok therefore I couldn’t agree with the tomato sauce. Very light dinner overall and feels healthy for a late night dinner.

A must-try for Vietnamese style food in Sydney! Every dish is packed with flavour. The restaurant is semi-open, which gives it a great vibe and keeps the air feeling fresh.
Their steak and seafood are cooked perfectly. But the real standout this time was the “Banh Xeo” with added lamb.
I keep coming back to this place, and I’ll definitely be here again.

Epic duck regu – really nice, a bit spicy which makes it not too greasy
Lobster wonton- very good
And we also ordered both desserts on the menu, they are so great. They both have many layers to offer rich mouthfeel.
The waiter is also very friendly and helpful.
We would definitely like to come back.

Had a great dinner at Hello Auntie in Darling Square! The dishes were beautifully presented and full of flavor — especially the lamb banh xeo, which is crispy outside and juicy inside. The cocktails were surprisingly good too; No.6 is a must-try if you like something smooth and slightly sweet. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy, perfect for a relaxed night out. Will definitely come back!

It’s Vietnamese cuisine but really done differently and done well. A lot of focus on traditional salady leaves as well as lettuce. Portions are generous and equally delicious. Must tries; spring rolls (not what you expect, and worth the price), the Barra (Szechuan pepper is a nice touch), the eggplant (it looked like braised pork belly cubes).

I had a wonderful experience at Hello Auntie. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients and a modern twist that still respected Vietnamese roots.
The atmosphere was warm, fun, and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. What really stood out was the friendly and attentive service — the staff were kind, approachable, and made us feel comfortable from start to finish.
Overall, Hello Auntie offers great food, a lovely vibe, and excellent service. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be coming back to have Banh Xeo ☺️

Good attentive service! Nice interiors as well. Tried fried tofu, eggplant, steak, truffle prawn, chicken vernicelli, fried rice, mi goreng. We might have missed to order their best in the menu. Good alcohol choices.

A modern Vietnamese spot with great vibe and creative dishes. Loved the Aburi Scampi and the Duck Ragu (so tender!). Cocktails were refreshing too. Friendly service, nice outdoor seating. Perfect for a casual catch-up. Would come back!
