In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas. We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, turkey and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of breads and pies made fresh daily. We were greeted at Bill Miller’s by Darla, who was standing in the driveway due to a drive-through speaker malfunction. She was extremely pleasant and welcoming and took our order with great care. Unfortunately, due to a technical issue with the menu tablet, she was unable to complete the order.
Once we proceeded through the drive-through, Jessica assisted us and completed our order seamlessly. She was very kind, made sure everything was correct, and provided excellent service. Our food was hot and delicious, and the entire team at this Bill Miller’s did a wonderful job. High-five to the whole crew!

I have to give Bill Millers the biggest shout out ever! On Friday our caterer for 115 people just completely ghosted us for our wedding. My Son went and spoke with the manager Emmanuel and they completely stepped it up. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to feed our guest. This was the WORSTTTT bill millers!! They wanted to charge .25 cents for each pickle and onion bag after the 1 free one. DEPENDING ON THE MEAL YOU ORDER. These pickle and onion bags aren’t worth .10 cents.

Just got back from Bill Millers with takeout. Unfortunately, one of the sides, rice, was not cooked properly. Unfortunate because brisket, potato salad, beans and rice is my favorite combo. Also, minor but neglectful was the omission of onion and pickles.

I ordered food and the quantity of food is bad..Tacos and orders are very little for the price of food..Seems to me this Bill Millers is making there money in saving there food and not caring for there customers..I been to others Bill millers and they give full satisfaction to there customer in service.. unfortunately I can’t travel too far because this Bill Miller’s is down the street from where we live. why Bill Millers be greedy with food when Bill Millers makes millions in there business.So sad.

We went to Bill Millers on Zarzamora. Ordered 2, #3’s brisket and 3 sides. We asked for rice,beans and hash browns on one and potato salad on the other. We got home and they gave us burned hash browns and French fries . They need to train the supervisor’s, don’t know who there hiring butI really believe the blame is on them. We usually go to the one on Division and 35 but, every time we we get home we had the same problem. You know food is expensive and we don’t mind paying for what we order, NOT whatever the employees want to give you. Supervisor’s should check the order before it leaves the counter.
