Located in the previous wax museum location this venue looks over Victoria‘s inner harbour so the view is spectacular. When arriving for a reservation, it wasn’t too busy, I myself M and above knee Amputee using a walking aid, so I was a little confused that upon our arrival they chose to see us in an upper level without asking, but I do appreciate they wanted to give us a good view, although it was pouring rain.

Our waitress was amazing,, With great recommendations and a bubbly personality. The food was absolutely incredible. Two of us had steak, the other egg, chicken, fettuccine pasta, and let me just say that the steak was cooked to perfection, the vegetables were divine, and the sauce was Amazeballs.!! Would definitely go back!!

We started by splitting the early bird fried calamari and a cup of seafood chowder. Perfectly fried squid and steaming hot chowder full of mixed seafood hit the spot after a day of whale watching. We then had mixed seafood grill, which included perfectly seared tuna, six! Yummy grilled shrimp, and a piece of salmon that was the best I have eaten in a restaurant. We finished with drunken donuts and a chocolate tort with ice cream. We also split a bottle of wine ($10 off before 4 pm), which contributed to the high per-person price. Service was excellent and well paced. The restaurant even had a great classic rock play list.

Note: The restaurant was not crowded, as we were eating about 3:00 pm.

We had such a good meal. Crabcakes, blackened fish, kids pasta dish. We needed a dairy free option and the blackened fish was not hot spicy and delicious. I had the seafood chowder and it was vet tasty. Service was ok, attentive but they were busy. Kids menus was decent.

Had wonderful breakfast with friends here last week. It overlooks the harbour we sat in a comfy booth on a rainy morning. I had Fresh Avocado Toast and Eggs with arugula salad. The service was prompt and polite. The dinner menu looks good so we will be back to check it out.

Four of us gals met for lunch
Early ish at 11:30 am and it was quiet and we had our pick of seats, choosing a booth by the window.
Our server was prompt and soon we had our orders in and received. I once again had the tuna tataki on little crispy crackers with a generous smear of avacado under the tuna. I’d highly recommend this dish as it is tasty and filling! My two friends had the Gyozas and seemed happy with the generous serving. My other friend had the burger and was happy with it but I’d say it was a bit small in size. One step up from a slider.
Sorry, I never got a photo of it. And because we were there with bags of birthday gifts the server kindly gave us a plate of hot mini donuts with warm chocolate sauce. They were delicious! I’d order them again just to have the treat! Mmm
Our server was lovely! Just as we were finishing a large group, maybe from the cruise ships, filled up the restaurant. So go early, enjoy inside or on the deck!

Shayleigh was our excellent server who went out of her way to lease us six seniors for Happy Hour on a Friday afternoon around 3:30. The restaurant wasn’t busy so we had full attention and had a nice view of Victoria’s harbour. Although the selection was minimal for happy hour appetizers, I have to say the presentation, the flavours and the overall quantity of what we ordered was delicious and enjoyed by everyone. One of my friends had the pizza which seemed to be a generous size, and my other friend had the California role which was plentiful and I had the tasty Ahi tuna tataki on wonton crisps with a delicious soy based sauce to dribble over top. Again, the portions were generous and the presentation beautiful. My other friends had delicious looking Caesars to drink, and the rest had 9 ounce glasses of wine for a reasonable price and I had a nice cold l beer, for about the same price of the wine if I remember correctly. Despite being in the touristy area, the food served was above average and made you feel like you were in an upscale restaurant. I’ll be back with more friends to try a different selection . Keep up the good work and kudos to the chef.

We ordered the seafood tower. It was enough for the 4 of us! The seafood was so fresh. We will definitely be back! The staff were amazing. Don’t miss this gem!

Ate here for Valentine’s Day and it was amazing! They had a appy, entree, and dessert for $45 deal. We had the tuna tartar which was delicious, a serloin steak, and creme brûlée! Their hood fan was broken, so they had to keep the doors open. It was a little chilly, but they gave us a discount on the meal due to this! Incredible food and service, would come again 100%.

We spend our valentine’s lunch here just now. Very impressed. The atmosphere is cosy and inviting with a great view of the harbour. The server and manager were super friendly and attentive. Plus, they play really cool music including Bob Marley and soul classics! The food itself was delicious. I had the arugula with bacon and root beer soaked dates with a honey cider dressing for starters. Really unique flavours. My partner had the crab and whiskey soup which was also very tasty. We both had the seafood grill. It was a huge plate of grilled prawns, albercore tuna, salmon, vegetables and coconut quinoa rice. Again, very delicious. For dessert, I had the creme brulee with gooseberry compot and my partner had the chocolate torte. The creme brulee was light with a crunchy caramalized topping while the chocolate was rich and flavourful. A really nice experience to celebrate valentine’s day with my love.

Always a fantastic time and fabulous food here! I’ve previously only eaten outside on the patio in the summer, but the inside is quite lovely!!!

We had a big 65th birthday celebration here and making reservations was so easy with the manager. The food was fabulous, the drinks too! They have a fantastic bartender. Everything was beyond delicious, and they even came out with a candle and cake for my mom’s birthday which was such a nice touch!

They have a pretty nice menu with a good variety of items so there’s something for everyone! Lots of options for all the different dietary restrictions with our group.

Everything was good, and we have never had anything here that wasn’t delicious so you can’t go wrong with any choice off the menu!

I enjoy that it’s a quieter place to eat, so we could all easily visit and chat with one another. It’s a lovely location downtown.
