If you’re driving through the Snoqualmie pass, this is the best place to stop by for a burger on the I-90. The burgers are consistently juicy and the tomato soup here is good. We always stop by this place en route to Cle Ellum. It’s one of our favorite spots. I always get the 906 burger.

After a short hike near my we stopped here for lunch . We got the salmon teriyaki bowl and the chicken fried sandwich and the fries. We also got a side of the fries. It was chilly out so we got a table with the fire which was pretty nice. Service was fast and the place wasn’t too busy for a Sunday.

On a cold October afternoon, we were trying to beat the snow at Snoqualmie Pass and stopped for food when there was no snow insight.
The servers sat us promptly, knew we needed a warm drink, and shared insights about the menu. A sample of their house chili for our little guy was helpful in assessing the spice level. With only a few tables soon after opening, Nathan took time to connect and was attentive to how our food tasted. We had potato wedges to start, chili and cornbread, soup and grilled cheese, and a salmon sandwich – gone. All were scrumptious!
Nathan’s enthusiasm about basketball was a hit for our family headed to a tourney for the weekend. We had a great experience. See you again soon.

Regulars for over 3 years driving an hr each way especially for the soup and grilled cheese sandwich, it’s really disappointing to being told we can’t order the smaller portion ($10) and are forced to get the $19 option. The difference? Half a grilled cheese. Still the smaller soup portion.

Genuinely ruined it for us.

A good place to get a meal at the Pass. The food is pretty good with the prime rib dip being a personal favorite, the drinks are well done and everything is pretty normally priced. The service is friendly and generally pretty good but nothing special. Overall if you need dinner or a cocktail at the pass this is a great choice.

We stopped here after a hike in the area today (Saturday) it was pretty busy but we got a table outside quickly. We intended to go to the brewery but they only serve hotdogs, and that wasn’t what we wanted. Fortunately, Commonwealth had a variety of beers and a nice menu. Nathan was our server, he talked pokemon with my son and local sports with my friend. You could tell he really enjoys his job and meeting people. The service was great, the food came quickly and tasted great! We had wings, potato edges, street tacos and kids mac and cheese. All great! I’m glad we stopped here, we will be back next time we’re in the area.

We had a really great experience at The Commonwealth after a long day in the snow.

The food and service were excellent. They’re able to accommodate large parties, though during peak season it gets very busy, so expect a wait. The lobby is quite small, and you may need to wait outside—just something to plan for.

The standout items for us were dessert. The hand pie and the cookie with ice cream were both delicious and a perfect way to end the meal.

Prices are very reasonable considering the location and lack of nearby dining options. They honestly could charge more due to limited competition, but the pricing felt fair and appropriate.

The absolute highlight of our visit was our server, whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch. All I know is that he recently moved from Snoqualmie to Roslyn. He was attentive, professional, and never made us feel rushed—even though we arrived very close to closing. Around 8:55 pm, with the kitchen closing at 9, we asked if it was too late to order another round of buffalo wings. I even told him not to worry if it was too late, and he immediately replied, “I’ll make it happen.” And he did.

It’s the small things like that that mean a lot. He could have easily said no and we would have completely understood, but instead he went above and beyond. You can tell he takes pride in what he does.

Thank you for a wonderful experience—we’re already looking forward to our next trip up.

This was a great place for after skiing or sledding. Quick service, lively atmosphere and good food. Our teens as well as 4 adults all enjoyed our meals. Good draft beer and mixed drinks and free refills on the soft drinks. Not cheap, but I felt like we got our money’s worth.

I came in on a Saturday night. I waited by the sign “wait to be seated”. Another group came in after me and they were asked right away if they needed a table. Luckily that group said I was there first. I was seated outside.

I waited almost 20 minutes with my wife. No one came over to acknowledge us, while others were being served. I had to get up and walk into the restaurant to get the attention of the waitress. We ordered the French dip, chicken wings and grilled cheese. My wife wanted pasta with tomato sauce, as the only pasta they offered was with Alfredo sauce. My wife was doing a local marathon the next day and can’t eat cream base sauce the day before the race. The waitress looked bothered that we asked and she wouldn’t even ask, as the kitchen is busy. We can understand they can’t make accommodations but the tone of her answer could been friendlier.

Food was ok, 3/5. One of the chicken wings was still red inside. No follow up from the waitress during the meal if we needed anything.

I was the only minority at the restaurant at the time. I couldn’t help it as I was put in the corner outside and others were being promptly helped.

We LOVE the Commonwealth. It’s a must stop on our ski weekends up at the Summit. We’ve been dining here since they opened and the quality and experience have remained top-notch. Our server Nathan who’s been waiting on us year after year not only provides excellent and timely service but remembers us. It’s very family-friendly and the ambiance is cozy and ecclectic. Perfect for an apres ski or date night. Definitely make this part of your Pass plans!
