I talked to the 2 best employees at this location. One of the was the manager Sidney the other was Maddy. These employees made my experience a very good experience. I love Costa Vida already and they made me love this location. I do think this location needs a drive-through, but I hear we’re working on that

It felt more like a full-service restaurant than a fast-food spot. The manager checked on us multiple times, ensuring we had everything we needed. The attention to detail and customer care were outstanding. Whenever I’m in town, this will be my go-to place!

It’s clear she really cares about the customers! she greeted everyone with a smile and created such a positive vibe. The food was delicious as always! Walked through the line w a $3 taco deal in hand. We got all the way through the line to the cashier without being told that if the meal is à la carte the discount is invalid. We asked Sophie who was at the register if there was anything she could do to help us get the discount and she just said no. Completely denied us service until after we paid. When I went back to ask a manager about it she told us there wasn’t anything she could do because we paid. $6 meal turned into an $18 meal. Sophie owes us $12 on our next meal please.

I went on a treasure hunting on my sweet pork salad, except I never found the pork. It’s not like I will never come back to Costa Vida, but please make sure to add meat to your dishes. The new salad dressing makes merethink if eating out is even worth. Please use the original recipe

The last two times I’ve come, the same young man serving the salads at the beginning of the line has made a big deal to his coworkers about serving exactly two ounces of meat in the salads (and I’d say if he were to weigh the portions it might be less). It looks like the tiniest amount of rice, beans, and meat. If that’s the serving, that’s fine, but I don’t see other Costs Vidas doing that. The others just use their serving utensils to serve and be done and it feels more generous, plus the servers are focused on me the customer rather than telling the other coworkers that he’s going to need exactly 2 oz more for the following customers of grilled chicken or other meats. Because it’s happened twice, I will not plan to come back.

I’ve always loved Costa Vida, I wish more places carried Horchata, it’s one of my favorite drinks! It was here that my kids started appreciating pulled pork and beef barbacoa, where beforehand they often times were very particular about what kinds of meat they liked. I always try to make my home made pulled pork as close as I can to the sweet pulled pork here because in two words it was: life changing.

The restaurant was clean, and, though the line was long for food, it moved quickly and the staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated how when I told the employee I needed a gluten free meal, he changed his gloves and washed his hands immediately and without me needing to a say anything more. He was so deliberate and easy-going about it. This consideration and service is so appreciated! Every time I come here (and I’ve been here several times) they respond this way and that is why I keep going back (plus the food is always delicious!). I have never gotten sick from gluten contamination after eating at Costa Vida!
I enjoy the salads with sweet pork best. I’ve also enjoyed the nachos and enchiladas (with corn tortillas). The queso is good, too.
I usually go with someone who is not eating gluten free and they get the flour tortillas and always have enjoyed their meals.

I ordered a sweet pork burrito covered in red sauce, but honestly, I expected much more. The salad was tasteless and I feel disappointed, especially since I had heard great things about this place. The only highlight was the service, which was good.
