Ugh, I can’t with this BK anymore. This used to be one of the places we went sometimes 2 or 3 times a week, whether for dinner or an after-school snack of nuggies (used to be my my kiddos’ FAVORITE nuggies!) There have been problems for at least a year or 2, but its gotten worse and worse. The upper management (from DM to corporate) are well aware this is a “problem store” and I’m not completely sure why they don’t just go in and clean house, but it’s costing them lots of business. I try and always give people the benefit of the doubt, but seeing the reviews it isn’t only me having these problems.

The employees are always annoyed, can’t be bothered to even attempt positive customer service, or are downright rude to you…and each other. Last 2 times I’ve gone through, there were employees squabbling 2 feet from the window, literally cussing each other out in front of God and everybody. Just ridiculously unprofessional. They can’t ever seem to get an order right. I can’t remember the last time we got everything we were supposed to, nothing was short, it was all hot and yummy, without having to have something fixed or pull through again bc they forgot something. It’s to the point I won’t even pull out of the window before I check my order.

When you first pull up, you’ll wait 5-15 minutes to order food, depending on the line. Ridiculous. Idk who is teaching these people to take care of one car at a time at the speaker, but they need to be re-trained. That’s the worst possible way to handle it…not only for customers, but for the employees, themselves!

Food is always gross, last 5 times we threw away at least one of the items we paid for bc it was literally inedible. A few times I called, replacement isn’t ever great anyway, so I usually just forget about it. As ypu can see, my most recent order (almost 30 bucks!) was completely disgusting. Burger (not pictured) was completely made wrong and missing the bacon AND cheese somehow, 2 orders of nuggets (though 3 shy of being complete, btw—should have had 16, only had 13) were overcooked and/or left under lamp FAR too long to be served, same with the onion rings, fries were greasy and burnt and gross…and not even close to full…it was all disgusting. It was 30 bucks straight into the trash, as none of us could eat any of it. Just disgusting, seriously. These people are gonna end up making somebody sick! Won’t be my family.

I gave them plenty of chances to correct these problems, its not a one-off (or 2 or 8, or even 18, at this point!!) These people are ruining your store, BK. Get new management AND employees or they’ll run it right into the ground.

The manager, Megan is polite and respectful when engaging with customers. I actually was helped by her when the manager at the Alcoa restaurant, Jimma was rude and unwilling to answer my questions about how to contact BK corporate office. Thank you to Megan! Have an awesome day!

I have consistent issues at this restaurant always in Maryville! Tennessee. If I order through drive-through, my order is never correct. I will even ask is those burgers made with no pickle and of course they say yes to find a handful of pickles in the middle of my burger constantly. Management does not care whatsoever about the customers. If ordered by the app on the phone, the order is Constantly wrong and when they serve you at drive-through, they virtually throw it inside your window. Here’s your order thanks when you ask if it’s OK they always say yeah. It is night and day difference between the Burger King in Maryville, Tennessee and the Burger King in Alcoa, which is a maybe 2 miles or 3 miles apart. Alcoa really takes the time to take care of their customers the order back to me and make sure it’s correct. Burger King needs to clean house in Maryville Tennessee Needs to get all new management and employees and they would see a big boom in business like it used to be. Very very poor customer service and management is even worse.

Was picking up a DoorDash order in the morning and a lady and a younger man were just sitting talking in the back for 10 minutes while the order sat in the heating area. Then he came up and said they were crazy busy despite zero customers in the story and nothing on their order screen. Didn’t apologize or acknowledge that he was just being lazy. Worst service I’ve ever seen.

People were nice but everything we ordered was wrong. Fries and nuggets looked and tastes like they have been sitting out under a lamp for hours. I ordered a double cheeseburger and only came with one patty. And they totally forgot an order of the tots that I paid for. If you want to have it your way don’t try this place. Booooooooooo

Got my food home the burger was wrong and I should have just ask for a small fry instead of a large because basically got a small. And it was not busy at all didn’t have sweet tea. The cashier guy almost threw my food at me trying to rush me on.. So bad in multiple ways. Tonight on 12 dec 2025.

Grate food, amazing service went through drive Thu an no wait and got all my food. One of the managers I think her name was Makayla she was really nice and working hard. The place is clean and it’s kid friendly and vegans are welcomed too.

The girl working drive thru was awesome she was actually working. Hard while I. Assuming was night team lead. Was at front getting food but in reality she was. Texting on her phone Kayla I think was her name i was in drive thru line for 15 min before order taken. While both girls visably was wearing a headset. The girl that was on phone I know can be seen by cameras. I think that girl in drive thru deserves a raise n promoted while the other just let her go clearly she had more important things to laugh about on her phone

Got our food completely wrong, cashier guy told us that we are in the wrong and refused to make it. He said he gets off at 5, he is more concerned about going home. Wish they wouldn’t use vulgar language with customers present.
