We went to Samurai for a family lunch of 4 and enjoyed the delicious food. The chef behind the grill was personable and funny, which made the experience even better. However, the wait staff could improve, and the restaurant feels old and dated. Overall, good food and entertainment, but the service and atmosphere need some work.

The food was good and plentiful. My friend ordered the Chicken Tempura Kitchen Dinner and a Jax Roll. She said the roll was okay and the Chicken Tempura was excellent! In addition to being delicious, there was so much she could barely eat half the Chicken Tempura with vegetables and rice. I ordered the Mexico Roll and vegetable tempura appetizer. Both were good. The vegetable tempura included onion, broccoli, mushroom, sweet potato and zucchini. The tempura batter was outstanding and the tempura mushrooms were exceptional. Do yourself a favor and order something tempura!

Went with a large party on Valentine’s and we were celebrating a birthday. Here is my review.
Pros:
-I made reservations weeks ahead of time and they sat us right at our time
-Staff was friendly and tried their best despite it being packed.
-The hibachi food tasted good.
-They had the entire restaurant sing happy birthday and they allowed me to bring a cake.
Cons:
-We had to ask several times for ice, sweetners, to go boxes, forks & plates. Some of things like ice and sweetner, we never got.
-The cook seemed rushed. Did bare minimum and then was out.
-The cook confused the temperatures of steak for several people.
-He completely forgot to give steak to 2 people and then when we asked he tried to give them burnt up scrapes that we refused.
-The shrimp and scallops tempura had absolutely NO FLAVOR. No worth the money.
Fun experience but not worth the price.

Celebrated a birthday at Samuri last night. What a wonderful experience!! The food was fabulous, the service was amazing and the chef show was fun. I would encourage anyone with a small group go and and give this one a try. Highly recommend!!

This was one of the best hibachi places i have ever been. The amount of food and quality, the service especially for NY eve was all impeccable. Nice size glass of plum wine. The salad dressing was so good I bought some to go. You cannot go wrong here. The picture is only half of the food as me and my his got the dinner for 2 and he had a huge plate of noodles and steak and veggies and shrimp and lobster. This is easily 3 meals.

This is the worst service I’ve ever had!!! We come here quite a few times. There’s been a time or two it was pretty rough but this was the worst I ever seen it. Our service waitress was really fast really rude and messed up some orders but especially mine. Every time I ask for something when we were doing our order she did it the opposite. My sushi was wrong My selection I chose was wrong. The water tasted like chemicals. She messed up my child’s order and it was to go!! She didn’t come back to check on us to see if we needed anything or extra refills or anything another waitress from another table who got our tip who deserve the tip because she was one actually helping us more than the other lady!! The guy who cooked her food he was a sweet guy real nice real polite but he was going way too fast messing up everybody’s orders because I think the waitress had it in accurate. I didn’t get my extra vegetables everything was undercooked and so was my husband. There was no flavor and no seasoned on the rice was pretty much almost white like nothing on it at all. The soup was super cold. We paid a lot of money for me and my husband and our kid. And walked out with some BS food and BS service!! Don’t know if I’ll ever come back to this place!!!!! I’m very disappointed!!!

Ordered 2 spicy salmon rolls and they gave me two rolls with just salmon and shrimp sauce, literally no spicy whatsoever. It was disgusting the texture was horrible couldn’t even eat it. $30 wasted. Never coming back.

Didn’t get very good pictures. We started enjoying our delicious food and company before I got the pictures. We started with the Spicy Tuna Roll, and then we had the dinner for 2. It consists of Filet Mignon, Shrimp, Lobster,and Scallops. You also get fried rice, noodles, vegetables, soup, and salad. Our friends had the same dinner, and since it was one of their birthday, they got a free cheesecake. They food was delicious, the steak just melted in your mouth, and the seafood was fabulous. Our chef was great and even sang to our friend, and our waitress was very attentive.

I have always been amazed by the skill that these types of chefs possess and the gentleman who served our birthday party was no exception. He was very polite and friendly. Now the food was equally delicious and impressive. Seafood beef chicken all three were outstanding. It’s a good idea to make a reservation so you can be seated right away. Lunch was great but I can’t wait to go back for dinner. Enjoy

The table cook was very pleasant and food was well prepared. He did the standard tricks. It was for my daughters birthday. Just a heads up NO free birthday dinner or lunch like other Japanese Steakhouses in town or hitting the gong for your bday. The waitress and front staff were not as pleasant. That is why a 3 star. Not sure if new but customer service was not their strength. Great deal for lunch. But don’t expect any extras for birthdays.
