Mom’s Kitchen seemed to be one of the local’s favorite breakfast diners in the area. If you aren’t bothered by high foot traffic, packed dining area, loud noise, but decent food, this is the spot for you.
First thought that came to my mind upon entering the restaurant was organized chaos. It was busy and chaotic but everyone there seemed to know exactly what needed to be done to tend to each and every customer.
We were seated after a few minutes of wait time. The black coffee was okay. The food was okay, little too greasy for our tastes, but it was served while hot. Our server Michelle was very patient with her coworkers and customers which enhanced our dining experience.
Food 3/5. Ambiance 3/5. Service by Michelle 4/5. The reason why I am giving this place 2/5 stars is because I want others to be aware of how rude service by an employee named Amanda can affect the restaurant’s image.
Server named Amanda who works there was very rude in how she carried herself, yelling at her coworkers with attitude, not an ounce of positivity, and shaking her head at customers while passing by tight space with food in her hands. She is one reason we won’t be returning here, and we definitely don’t recommend this place to anyone.
We believe hospitality is one of the reasons why people visit mom and pop restaurants and become regulars there over other major chain restaurants. It was embarrassing for me to have taken someone here who was visiting from out of the country because of decent reviews, only to have her experience Amanda’s rudeness and unprofessionalism.
*Please learn to respect your customers and restrain your dislike for people when you are clocked in Amanda. We won’t be returning so you won’t have to worry about us, but for the sake of future customers. Being nice won’t hurt.

Right near the turnpike quick bite to eat. I enjoyed everything but the french fries they were very greasy. The home fries were good my egg and cheese sandwich was good as well. My only complaint really is it s in need of a makeover. The inside is worn and dingy.

Great food !! I especially like either the French toast special or the waffle special. It comes with eggs,sausage and bacon. The hamburgers are to die for and the beef stew reminds me of my mother’s cooking. Talented Chef’s and Waitress.

I love simple homemade comfort food in a cold day/night, nothing could be better than sitting down to a bowl of hot chili and a serving of liver and onions with a side of carrots and mashed potatoes. The server was polite and attentive, making sure my water glass was refreshed and everything was to my liking. I appreciated that my meal was not rushed and that I could take my time with it. Thank you to the entire staff of Mom’s Kitchen for an honest to goodness home-feel coziness to the restaurant’s ambience and to the love and care they put into each meal served all the way to the friendliness of the busboys coming by collecting empty plates. I thank you all and pray your lovely restaurant remains as charming in the years to come as it is right now.

Mom’s Kitchen offers the traditional diner vibe, with a cozy environment, friendly service, varied menu, and extremely fair prices. Our table had a few different dishes and everyone seemed to enjoy them. Particularly, their veggie burger was great.

I like the atmosphere in this restaurant, sweet home feeling, as if back to old fashion morning coffee place, everything comes with traditional American style. I love the soup , it’s tasty with small Italian meat balls in it . The toasts are very crispy , I like the way they cooked,the best ever ! Loved it !

This place was ok but small, the service was good. The food was above average, I liked the flavor of the potatoes but way too thick, the toast wasn’t warm. I also didn’t like atmosphere, it’s outdated for my liking. Give it a try and be your own judge.

Mom‘s kitchen is exactly what they say made from the heart. The food was amazing. Certainly tasted homemade the seasoning and grilled onions added to the home. Fries was a nice touch. The grits were smooth and creamy exactly as I prepare at home the over hard eggs were cooked to perfection, which isn’t alwaysprepared to my liking, but these were perfect service was incredible at the counter area. The atmosphere was a reasonably quiet and you definitely felt like you were seated at your mom’s kitchen table.
