Great for a quick value priced meal. Hot dog I had was a little grey, but the chili topper was excellent. Over all a decent chili dog, I’ll be back to try a Chicago dog. I also had a gyro , it was pretty tasty but I probably won’t get again. I would like to try a Philly so I’ll give it one more try. Lots of locals. Staff is very nice. Atmosphere is greasy spoon .

Decided to try this historic little hotdog restaurant, since it has been around for so long and seems to be a popular spot for locals! I went inside to order a beef hotdog with mustard and sauerkraut to go – a standard. Service was fast and friendly, hotdog was nice and hot. The hotdog itself was OK, it was a little soft for a beef hotdog, I like a little bit more snap, like a Sabretts. I also like the bun toasted, but I know that is not traditional- even in NYC. They are known for their homemade chili dogs – so I will try that next time. They have a lot of other menu choices, good prices, a small eat in area and a drive thru – that seemed very efficient – great for a short lunch break.

Another whole in the wall yummy food joint. Good food, chill vibes, and decent prices. Drive thru service or dine in options. Not the cleanest but if I’m back in the area I’ll be stopping by again soon.

I’ve been wanting to eat here since I moved to Cocoa and today I got the job done. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. It’s a very clean restaurant, with tables to eat at and they have a drive thru also. I was amazed to find that Arbetter’s has been in existence for 46 years so they’re doing something right. The gentleman who was ahead of me in line ordered 3 Chili Dogs which are a staple on the menu. I asked him how he liked the Chili Dogs and he gave me a thumbs up. Their chili is reportedly superior, made from fresh ground beef daily. I ordered a Chili Dog and a Gyro. I haven’t had a great Gyro since I left NY but I did today. It was absolutely delicious and they even refilled my Pepsi. I’m seriously considering going back for dinner. I highly recommend Arbetter’s.

The girl at the cash register was the only redeeming value at this place. The wife ordered the gyro combo I ordered the clam strips combo price was almost $17. Received food pretty quickly. French fries are okay the drinks you get with it are probably 16 oz sodas. Gyro had a sufficient amount of meat but the sauce inside of it was very runny when she asked for more sauce they told her it cost another 50 or 60 cents for another 2 oz of sauce clam strips are horrible. They were burnt the oil was either bad or they left them in the fryer way too long. All I could taste was burnt breading and no clams. The inside of the restaurant is very very very dated tiles on the floor all cracked tables are splintered and peeling restrooms are outside of the store. Although the place wasn’t especially dirty the paint, ceiling and everything else is so worn out it just appears really really dirty I will not be going back there.
