I absolutely loved this place! We started with the seafood dip — I expected it to be chunky because of the seafood, but it was surprisingly smooth and delicious. We had the salted caramel martini (10/10!) and some kind of rum punch that I can’t remember the name of — also a 10/10.
Our waitress, who was also the bartender, was so sweet and had the best personality! My mom ordered the create-your-own bowl, and I had the shrimp linguine. The sauce was a bit runny, but since it’s a white wine sauce, that’s to be expected.
The location is just perfect — we were able to dine with a lovely view of the patio and street, which made the whole experience even better.

We had a wonderful lunch here. We ordered the soup of the day, lobster rolls, and a 14oz ribeye steak — all of them were amazing, and we really enjoyed them. The server was very friendly. There aren’t many seats inside, but the outdoor seating is also nice, just with a few fly bugs around. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try any desserts (I didn’t notice them on the menu), so hopefully I can taste them next time! Overall, we really liked this place.

I absolutely loved my experience at Local Station! The lobster dip was incredible, the brie cheese was delicious, and the Surf & Top steak was cooked to perfection. The quality of the food was outstanding — everything was rich in flavor and beautifully prepared. Highly recommend this place!

Friendly service, nice spot.
The food however was not anything amazing.
The burger is a plain regular burger and dry.
The ribeye had a lot of nerve pieces that it wasn’t enjoyable to eat. Mashed potato’s were plain but the asparagus were good.
The chicken strips were the best in my option.

As usual the food is delicious! I’ve only been here 2 other times & I was with another adult. I didn’t realize, as many locals may already know, this is not necessarily somewhere that is family focused. As in, they don’t have highchairs or a kids menu which is kind of unfortunate. However, I still give a 5 star review because the chef went above & beyond. He was willing to make a off the menu grilled cheese for my toddler which she continuously claimed was “Yummy”
We’ll definitely be back… next time we’ll get a sitter but overall it was a great experience.

Local Station is an American-style eatery in the historic downtown of Braselton, Georgia. It has the potential to be a good place to enjoy lunch or dinner, with pleasant patio seating, but service was unfortunately chaotic to non-existent on the day we stopped in for lunch, and this made it difficult to enjoy food that was otherwise good.
Several of us had hamburgers, two of us had Caesar salads, and one had chicken tenders. We started the meal with an appetizer of pimento cheese and pita bread. We all found each dish tasty and well-prepared.
But our enjoyment was marred by the experience of sitting a half hour at the bar waiting for a table, and being unsuccesful at getting the bartender to take our drinks order. Then when we finally got seated, we waited a solid hour for our food to be brought to the table, as wait staff rushed through a swinging door next to where we were sitting, sometimes speaking to each other in loud, raucous voices.
The young woman who waited on us was very nice, but she took forever even to bring water to the table and then seemed not to notice when our glasses needed refilling. Maybe we happened in on a day when there was some problem in the staffing of the place, and it is better on other days. Whatever the reason, we found our experience unnerving, and can’t highly recommend this place due to the service problems we encountered.

I’ve lived in Winder for 7yrs and today was the first day my husband and I tried it. We were NOT disappointed! This place was AMAZING! We came in at almost 3pm on Memorial Day. It was busy but not terrible, we were seated right away. We opted for inside seating since it was a bit warm outside. Our server Brook was AMAZING! All her recommendations were spot on DELICIOUS! Brook suggested their Spring Drink menu, the lavender lemon martini, which was INCREDIBLE! We decided to each get a meal and a 3rd to share since there were so many things we wanted to try. I had read previous reviews before going and everyone raved about the lobster rolls amd shrimp risotto with garlic white wine sauce. Brook suggested the local station bowl with steak, mushroom risotto and garlic white wine sauce. Since my husband isn’t a seafood fan, we opted for her suggestions for our shared meal. I had the lobster roll and my husband had the Jack’s fingers aka chicken strips. The local station bowl was incredible! The risotto mixed with the garlic white wine sauce…. chef’s kiss delicious! The steak was a nice pairing but next time I’m totally getting it with the shrimp lol. The lobster roll was very good, a bit pricey with it being $22 for 1 roll and a side of house made chips, but I’m glad I tried it. My husband’s chicken fingers were DELICIOUS! You could tell they were hand breaded and fresh NOT frozen! We also decided to get 2 desserts to go. Their desserts are rotated throughout the week, so the cannolis which looked amazing on another person’s review was not available. We needed up getting the coconut cheesecake and the oreo cheesecake to go. Brook suggested the oreo one. Both were AMAZING! We will definitely be back!

We really wanted to enjoy this restaurant. Living in Chateau Elan, we had heard mostly positive feedback from neighbors, so our expectations were reasonable. We visited last month for an early dinner, and unfortunately the experience fell short. As we walked in, several employees were standing behind the bar, looked at us, and did not acknowledge or greet us. After a short wait, the hostess came from the back and seated us. One detail that stood out was fly tape visible on a window sill next to the dining area, which was unexpected in a sit down restaurant. We ordered the baked brie to start, which was fine but not memorable. We both ordered bowls for our main courses. Mine was decent, but my wife’s dish tasted stale and seemed as though it had been reheated multiple times. For the price point, the food quality and level of service did not align with what we would normally expect and ultimately felt overpriced. We eat out quite often and only expect decent food and basic customer service, and unfortunately this visit did not meet either of those standards.

My husband discovered this place recently and decided to give it a try 2 days ago. Little did we know, we discovered our new favorite restaurant!!! The place is very cozy and cute, not too big. The staff is super friendly as well. Our waiter, Logan was super sweet, attentive and made the best recommendations for our family. Our favorites were the lobster dip, the potatoes au gratin (to die for!!!!) , the burgers were also delicious! My husband and I love a good old fashion and this was one of the best we’ve ever had. Just a suggestion for the old fashion, they would be even better if they were smoked but they were perfect regardless!!!! Thank you, Logan for going above and beyond for our family, we had a great experience and we highly recommend this place!!!!! You just gained some loyal customers and we’ll bring more friends ❤️

I was in the area with the puppers. We stopped for a quick bite for lunch. The staff was very friendly and brought water for my dog and gave him plenty of pets. The California Fish Tacos were delicious !
