If you enjoy trivia, please attend their Thursday trivia at 7pm! They have an amazing host with increasingly challenging questions.
They also have TVs around which I understand it’s hard to play Thursday night football due to it only prime, but if they can find away to show the game (maybe incorporate it into their Trivia???) would be a bonus!
One piece of constructive criticism is they need to establish a stronger brand identity. The food doesn’t match the atmosphere and decorations which doesn’t match the activities offered which doesn’t match the name. I’m unsure of their targeted audience and preferred age demographic. They allow dogs but other than the name and serving hot dogs (maybe dog treats?? can’t remember), there’s not much indicating that from my first visit. Whether they’re a dog bar, dive bar, sports bar, shareable restaurant, or whatever else… it’s a bit all over the place!
Regardless, still a fun place to go with great staff!
great ambiance, friendly staff and its Halal
Ordered the sausage in batter and it was awful. The batter was dry and tasteless and the sausage inside was rubbery and tasted bad.
7$ for this is crazy when in Sonic I can order the same thing for literally 2$ and it will be 10 times tastier.
Service also leaves a lot to be desired – waiter were inattentive and not friendly. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
I called the store and spoke with a man who identified himself as the manager. This man seemed highly concerned about the issue and was apologetic, insisting that what I found was unacceptable and that although this same situation has occurred previously I was the first customer this year to report finding plastic inside my food. The man assured me that he’d be sending me a text so that I could send photos to him, documenting what I discovered, and that my entire order would be refunded. That never happened. It’s been two days and I’ve heard nothing from this manager. Initially, I called Dog Haus to simply inform them of what I found to hopefully prevent it from happening to another customer but it is completely unacceptable to have this happen, then be told something would be done to rectify the issue and nothing has been done.
I say all this to say, I do not recommend eating here.
