Today was the first time in years, that me and my grandmother got to go plates for lunch. We usually dine in, and the food, service, and atmosphere is alot better. Today…every single thing on the to go plates are soggy. The fries are barely cooked. The slaw is hot. The fish breading is soggy, and the onion is hot as well. Every time we dine in, the food is exceptional. We were looking forward to a great lunch and we were very disappointed in what we received. I would advise anyone thinking of getting food to go, to just sit down and eat. It is a way better experience.

Lovely location and PACKED at 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon! The salad bar was fresh and had a nice selection. The wait staff was efficient and polite. Not normally a catfish fan but would come back to eat here again! Took most of my meal home because the salary bar filled me up!

We went there today at noon, after Church. We had less than a 5 minute wait to be seated. Very nice and clean place. There is plenty of room between tables. Great choices on salad bar. Super friendly & kind staff. Waitress was incredible. Great personality. She took our order, and the meal arrived at our table in short order. Even before I finished my salad. She regularly checked back with us ; about 4 times in all, to ask if everything was alright and if we needed anything extra. She kept a good eye on our beverage glasses and returned to refill them in short order. After we finished our meal, we received the check, and I was pleasantly surprised at how low the price was for such great service and food. I thanked our waitress and gave her a well-deserved 30% tip.
Shortly after that, a nice lady whom I presumed was the owner came to our table and asked us how we felt about the meal and service.
*( I thought that was very special.)
We told her the food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and they have a super friendly staff too. We were very pleased. We informed her, ( the owner) that we loved coming there when time permits, as we live in Athens (AL.), and it’s a 45-minute drive, that is well worth the drive.

Really great prices seafood platter is less than $20. They have an amazing salad bar. It’s extra but worth it.

I ended up ordering their stuffed crab, and I have to say it was absolutely fresh and really delicious. The service was attentive, friendly, and impressively quick. The overall atmosphere felt really cozy, like walking into a classic, old-fashioned mom and pop restaurant.
