If we could give this restaurant a negative star, we would. We waited 1.5 hours for our food. After an hour the waitress came to apologize that they got backed up and we were understanding enough to wait another 30 min but after we noticed that the people who came after us received their food before us we had no choice but to leave. We heard the people who received their food before us that it was cold. As we left, we overheard the waitress yell into the kitchen saying that “we had another walk out!” No manager im sight. He was probably hiding out in the back.The restaurant wasn’t full but they seemed to prioritize the pick-up orders / door dashers and not the actual customers inside the restaurant. Very disappointing. Will not be going back. I don’t see how this location will stay open for much longer. The best thing about the University location are the Ikea meatballs.

I did not enjoy the food. My husband and I stopped for breakfast, dine in. The sausage was extremely greasy, off the grill, on the plate. The home potatoes was dry as if they had been sitting in a warmer. I ask for cheesy eggs with American cheese, I got cheddar cheese, the waitress did correct the order. But, at that point, I asked to put them in a to go box. My husband ask for well done bacon, far from that. The French toast with strawberries was cold. I will not return to this location again

Food is always fresh, got & delicious when I order from here. I wanted to get extra drink, and this “jug”/ bag is what the 1/2 gallon of drink came in- sturdy & easy to use,no leaking! Much better than getting cups of drinks, that could spill.

Very nice staff each time I visit. I have been to this location twice each time ordering a family meal for takeout. The staff have always talked with me and made sure I had everything I needed for the family meal. It felt like a very personalized experience which I enjoy. Doing a great job holding up to the “From Our Family to Yours” company slogan. Only feedback I have really is that the orders have been past pick up time both times. But that is not a huge deal. Also I think the roof needs to be washed. Looks like some mold buildup.

this place was good and friendly but the service was very bad. took a min to get seated even thou it was almost empty. the server we only saw twice and she never refilled out drinks or even checked on us. even forgot part of my order. even thou the food was pretty good, might not go back again. only reason for 2 stars is the hostess at the end who cashed us out was really funny and another waitress there was funny. the waitress we had i dont know her name but she was only there 2 month and from Ohio. not good at all.

I purchased the Thanksgiving dinner which feeds 6. The food was delicious and stored in easy to heat containers. This was our first time trying this and look forward to doing it again next year. The portion sizes are pretty large. And they make it easy to order online and pickup is a breeze. It really beats staying in the kitchen for days preparing food.

Ok, if you go here I would HIGHLY recommend the Southwest Avocado Omelet! It was spot on! This is the only Bob Evans I have ever gone to and I am not disappointed! I also tried the Banana Pecan Pancakes! They were just as good as they sound! This location was really clean and the parking lot wasn’t crowded at all. I did go at 2pm on a Tuesday, and I can for sure see this place being crowded on a Sunday morning! I’m going to be coming back here more often. Everything on the menu looked delicious. I ate as much as I could today, but there’s always tomorrow! They also sell some pretty cool gifts at the front of the store. I liked the Chocolote Brownie scented candle. Super friendly staff greeted us right as we walked in and helped check us out as soon as we were done eating.

I had a wonderful breakfast at this location today. It was my job’s annual breakfast and we’ve been holding our event here for the last 5 years. The wait staff was polite, checking on all of us often. We had seated around 32 people and also had at least 10 to-go orders. The food all came out correctly. We didn’t ask for anything to be changed and there were no complaints that I know of, about the food.
I ordered the caramel apple brioche French toast and it was delicious. I really enjoyed it so much, that I ate the entire thing.
There is more than enough food on each plate. I was able to actually share with my husband.
The supervisor Cathy and Manager Josh, were top notch in making sure that we have a nice place to hold our event. We had more than enough seating and even though some of the to-go orders came in earlier than we had expected, the chefs had it covered without a complaint.
We will be returning next year for our company breakfast. The breakfast means a lot to our company as well as, having a restaurant that is reasonable in price, great location off of the highway and, a great team including chefs, supervisor, manager and wait staff; we couldn’t be happier.

I came around this restaurant while browsing for brunch options nearby. Some of the reviews were iffy but decided to give them a change after I looked at their menu online and saw something that I wanted.
We arrived at 11:50am. We waited at the host stand for about a minute before being greeted and seated. It wasn’t that many people present. I would say a handful of tables. The waitress asked if we were ready to order right after she sat us, which I thought was a little odd, lol. So we asked for time and odered at 11:58pm. I ordered the Banana Berry Farmers Choice with scrambled eggs and bacon. My friend ordered the Fresh Berry French Toast with sausage.
While waiting, I noticed an ad for a drink I wanted. The waitress didn’t come back until after the food came. The food arrived at 12:13 but was brought by someone else. The French toast was plain with maybe a little powdered sugar on it. It didn’t have the strawberries it was supposed to. After bringing it to the attention of the person who brought the food, they brought out a side of strawberry compote. My friend felt like the lady was giving attitude. The lady was acting as if he was in the wrong and trying to add the strawberry toppings on the side.. Nonetheless, she came back fairly quickly and my friend added it on top his French toast. My friend said it was good. We later figured out it was supposed to have whip cream. So essentially, they gave regular French toast.
My food was correct. My home fries was warm but on the cooler side. The bacon was crispy and delicious! The eggs were average. They came plain and I added salt and pepper. I highly enjoyed the pancakes. Halfway through eating, I ordered the strawberry citrus splash. The waitress came back almost immediately, which was surprising. It was good though.
As j was finishing up my food, the waitress came back and asked if he needed anything else, to which I said no. One thing I don’t like is when they bring over the check before knowing we’re done. Because what if I wanted something else…? Then you just wasted paper… But after she left the check, she didn’t come back for a while. So much time passed I thought the check had been paid and my friend and I was just talking, lol. Eventually, she came back and said we had to go to the front register to check out, which we did shortly after being informed.
Overall, it was a decent experience and the food was good. I will say that Bob Evans gave me iHop vibes.

UPDATE FROM EARLIER REVIEW BELOW: I don’t know what happened, but this location is missing the mark lately. My pancakes were missing whipped cream and caramel sauce, they were completely out of coffee, the waitress seemed annoyed, and they didn’t seem to care much about anything. Service and food has gone downhill. Hash browns weren’t browned at all.
This Bob Evans is great. Always friendly, not super busy on weekdays or before 10am on weekends. Was disappointed recently that the dining room wasn’t open at night, but went early for breakfast because I was craving the delicious pancakes! Much better than IHOP, Denny’s, and even Original Pancake House for the pancakes themselves. Their sausage patties are delicious too. I wish Bob Evans marketed more aggressively because they deserve more popularity and love than IHOP.
